Hi Joe,
The answer to your question is simple. Christ was once asked what is the greatest Commandment of all, and he replied:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind. And there is a second Commandment, like unto the first: Love your neighbor as yourself. On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
Did you notice that he didn't say "some of the prophets" or "most?" You want to know the "Will of God?" You just read it. Everything else is simply commentary. IT'S ALL there. It's not about rituals. It's not about anything else. It's about living a life based on "love in action." That's it.
Hope this helps. Cheers, mate.

Hello =)
Oh, stop whining, you mamby-pamby, and take your lashes like a man.
Of course the John MacArthur commentary was "rather unsatisfactory"....the man's an idiot.
Don't take parables quite so literally, and don't put one gospel above the other, in terms of significance.
Namaste, and Happy New Year,
--Tom

Jesus and God and all true Christians have the same will--that all people will come to an accurate knowledge of the truth and endure in it until this system comes to an end. Jesus said to beg the master of the harvest (God) to send out workers in the field. People will not hear if we do not preach and it is the duty of every Christian to do just that. While it is true that we cannot work our way to salvation, James tells us that faith without works is dead.

Read Romans 12:1-21 if you want to know what God's will is for your life.
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) says "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
Romans 12:1-21 tells you in general what God's will is. The specifics of how God wants to implement that in your life only God knows.
If you really want to know and do the will of God then recommit your life to Jesus, make Him the Lord of your life, and walk in obedience to Him. If you do then you will be ready for the rapture.

Your here to learn one thing, and only one thing. To love each other as god loves you, even your enemies; the people that have wronged you or hurt you.
we have wronged god, used his name in anger, and in spite. And yet he still loves us.
when you can do the same, then you might have a chance, when Jesus comes back.

This is not an exhaustive list:
Keep the commandments.
Eat His Body and drink His Blood.
Feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, welcome the stranger, visit the sick and imprisoned.
