heres the question i saw "Muslims vs mormons?
The final contest for world power will be between the muslims and the mormons. Which should win? Given that the bible lets us know that God will prevail, which of the two groups is the lesser evil?"
what the hell? the mormon church is the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. they beleive in and worship god. their story about him is just different. they have a different book they beleive in. But they DO serve god. and they may be a cult, but they are not truely evil as they do serve the lord above. the muslims are just plain evil.

i KNOW they are a cult. but the point im trying to make is that people are saying they don't beleive in god and are comparing them to muslims. no group of people could possibly EVER be half as horrible as muslims. is just a stupid topic.

The writer of the book of mormon was joseph smith. jesus christ appeared to him in a vision and told him of ancient stones that told more of the story of the bible. he was also told that an angel named moradi was to aid him in finding these stones. he found them, and with some helped decoded the encriptions and the book of mormon was written. the book of mormon tells more of the story of the bible and the whereabouts of jesus after his death. if that doesn't count as beleiving/serving jesus please tell me what does. iits stupid i know, i never argued that mormons aren't stupid. its just as unbeleivable and any traditional religion. and religion is indeed 90% of the problems in the world. People kill each other cuz they don't beleive in the same things. and guess who does most of said killing? Muslims. The religion of muslim needs to be irradicated for it is not compatible with modern society.

Okay, I am LDS (mormon) and I can answer your questions AFTER I clear up something that everyone who answered you is saying.
We do not practice polygamy!!! That was done away with over 100 years ago... What is everyone's problem with this?
We do not have a different book; we have an ADDITIONAL book. It is another Testament of Jesus Christ, in addition to the KJV bible.
We aren't a cult, by the way. And we are DEFINITELY not Anti-Christian. It's in our flipping name - the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are definitely not anti-Christian. Why do people say things like that?

You called your question right. I know somewhat about Mormons.
They don't serve the same God of the Bible. The last president said so!
If they served God, then what are all the occultic and Freemasonry symbols doing on the temples, churches, underwear etc?

they do Not serve God and Christ. they view blacks as the children of Cain. they are a pagan cult as bad as islam or satanism, or even freemasonry.
the thing about the book of mormon, is these so-called ancient gold tablets, and the magic glasses, and the "hieroglyphics" don't exist, he is the only one who has ever claimed to have seen them, he wouldn't let anyone else look at them, because he said they had to have blind faith. the bible can be tested with history, science, and the landscape. the book of mormon is just a prop in joe smith's elaborate hoax. if any "angel" came to mr. smith, it was satan or one of his demons. they do exist, and they do interact with us today.

i am in no way a religiuos person, but i believe they are some of the niciest people i know and have no problem with their personal beliefes.
They make as much sense as any other religion.
