Religion supports all these thing you mention, without true relgion, none of these things will stand or be any good, you are under a delusion.Men need a govenor above themselves, a righteous judge, a lawgiver.
You have been deceived into thinking that.
Learn the truth.Stop being indoctrinated.Be different
It is science which produces weaopns of mass destruction, it is science which performs experiments on animals and humans, it is science that creatred the atomic bomb,it is science which teaches survival of the fittest,it is science that performs millions of abortions and considers the baby in the womb as nothing , it is science which teaches mercy killing. It i ssceience which coinsders harvesting baby stem cells from aborted fetuses to provide makeup that helps old hags look young,
Worship is a good name for it, because thought they don't like it, it takes the place of God in ther sytem, it determines all things ,it defines all things, it is valued before all things, it is the almighty for them and they do indeed worship at its altar and scientist are its priest sand prohets, I wouldnt be suprised if they make some sort of bread soon.
It is more dangerous because as we see here Atheists are getting more intolerant by the day, intolernat of the people who tolerated them and let them live and have their freedom all the time.If not, how did they ever rise to the level of safety and happiness they have? But they are increasingly nasty and hateful and as we know they do not have a absolute morality, it can change, so this is dangerous considering that science is based on the cult of Darwinism or pseudo-intellectualism, which preaches dogamatically survivavl of the fittest and tyhat there are no moral absolutes or anyone who cares over men. Men are final judges of themsleves not God or ten commandments. This leaves them free to believe and do anything they want. The only reason they are decent right now is because of the influence of Christian morality over Western Civilization, but they are trying to overthrow that now, so they can be free , unihibited by "Christins"moral constraint. And to overthrow religion and morality you have to overthrow reason as well, because throught history reason has come to the same concluions as religion about most things, just consult philosophers. It is waning now and so scientific triumphalism , survival of the fittest poses a threat for the future.

Well, do you mean that "RELIGION" should be outlawed? By who? How? Let's examine this a bit...
Religions crept up as an aftereffect of Mankind's search for
understanding of the universe, and of his place in that universe, of his individual quest to understand those things which trancend the physical.
You site the alleged idea that Religion is a source of war and misunderstanding, which has some basis in fact. But, so has Science & Technology - the "Cold War", Government - the First and Second World Wars, the American Civil War, and so on, and for that matter Philosophy, Art, Language have all, at one time or another, been the surface cause of conflict.
It is not the existance of these things that causes wars, it is the excuse. Wars are far more complex expressions of various and varied reasons and causes. For example, did Hitler cause WW 2, or was it the only way for the German peoples to reinvigorate their economy and free themselves of the burdens imposed on them after WW 1 was through war with and conquest of their neighboring states? Was the American Civil War really about the freeing of the Southern slaves, or was it a conflict to resolve class conflicts between rich Northern businessmen and rich Southern land owners? Are the current conflicts in the Middle East really about the religions in the region, or simply about who gets the profits from the natural wealth of the region?
That being said, the use of religion is a crutch that has been used to justify more agony and suffering than can almost be imagined. What every person must strive for is his or her own understanding of religion, not for "Well, God loves me and mine more than he loves you and yours, and just so I can prove it and gain power, I'm going to kill you and yours" What we need in the world is not more religion, or science or government, but more understanding, and more wisdom.

Because Religion has become associated with standardization, rules, regulations, etc. and in this modern world people are more about being unique and independent. People don't want to adhere to a Religion that has them conform to its standards and then condemns them if they don't. Personally, I am NOT a fan of Religion because I believe its purposes have become way off base. I'm more a fan of following and modeling the life that Jesus lived...and that's a life of love and compassion, not rules, standardization or condemnation.

People can be good and accomplish great things without Jesus' love. Has anyone has ever needed religion, at any point in time?
Ranger, another religious fanatic has already posted that. Rather than simply copying and pasting a faulty argument, you might want to look into the validity of your claim (which is, to say, not your claim at all, but something merely copied off an unreputable source).

Hmm.. government or God? Are you serious this is your God substitute? Science hmmm..seems to me that Science cant tell you even where you came from..The big bang? What caused the big bang? science is limited and what you end up with is something must have come from nothing or we do not know. you seemed to miss telling me that all men are capable of deciding there own morals....who's idea of morality do we choose society? If that be so their are many societies that failed because of a lack of morality...are we to decide our own morality where my ideas are clearly equal to yours and we have no absolutes. then it is every man for himself and the Strong survive as is in the animal kingdom True? No sorry there is a God and he is righteous and you in your imagination can not stop faith in God so you might as well just take another pill.

Religion will always be here, though we don't need organized religion in the modern world. Organized religion is where the hate, wars, etc.. come from.
Organized religions are the churches ect., while unorganized religion is where people practice their religion at home or in small groups. You have the two confused or haven't heard of this concept before.

Spoken like a true non believer,
Religion is needed now more than ever, Belief in someone greater than ourselves is what keeps a lot of us going on. Belief in an afterlife helps a mother when she loses her child. Belief in treating others with kindness, the way the doctrine teaches, is what helps many people restrain from violence. With all the choices available in today's society we all need something to believe in.

Since MOST major wars in history were fought over land, and money, maybe we should burn all the money and sink all the land. We could live on big Arks! Of course I suppose someone would want your Ark too, and then you'd have a naval war going.

i agree. but if people keep the faith, whatever it may be, do it PEACEFULLY. seriously. you dont see scientists killing each other over arguments, you see them trying to figure out the truth so they can resolve the argument. and for those who say "science created the atomic bomb".
science doesent kill people. people. kill. people.
plus, nukes are a pretty clean kill. if you have to go, it seems better nuked, than dying from an arrow wound that bleeds out, or better than dying in the civil war from a shot to the abdomen (civil war docs couldnt cure shots to the abdomen, so soldiers were left to die)

I don't think so.
I've been reading The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and he covered the whole "Muhammad cartoon" debacle. He said there was one person holding up a sign that said (and I'm recalling this from memory, but I'm pretty sure I've got it right) - "Kill anyone who says Islam is a religion of violence".
They must not have a sense of irony, eh?
