once? or like every day? one shot of alcohol is equal to one glass of wine. so if you are having "glasses" of scotch or vodka then you are drinking way more than you would be with the wine. plus wine atleast has anti-oxidants. moderation is key.

Vodka and Scotch have more alcohol than wine does. The only advantage hard liquor has over wine and beer is that it does not have any carbohydrates. However, many don't drink hard liquor by itself. It's normally mixed with juice or soda to cut down the harsh taste. Besides, carbohydrates are not always such a bad thing in a person's diet.

The wine contains less alcohol.
