Why is this? It goes from working at 200k/sec to not having any files download. I dont know why??

No, its not one specific file. All downloads cease. It is very intermittent in nature. I dont think the router is crashing.

Several possibilities -

If you are talking about the same file it could be that you have just hit a period where you are waiting in others queues after getting pieces from certain other users or you have too many connections at once which can cause a router to get overloaded.

With BitTorrent I had to set my connection limit to about 150 to keep from crashing my router during fast DL's.

I get limited search results many times because I have chosen to have only high speed internet results along with 3 and 4 stars only results, etc. Try resetting your search criteria in the options section of the Limewire program.
Also, this is sh*tty, but I have only allowed 10% of my bandwidth for uploads too, yes I am selfish with my bandwidth. Try lowering yours in the uploads section under options also.

Downloads flow like the weather. It always depends on the traffic at the time. Maybe everybody wants the same song you do at the same time.
