first i dit say america and the other allies.
second: may i remind you that the british got more tanks and other vehicles and weapons from the us than they could make themselfs. next thing you will be telling us is that britain could have easely defeated the germans on they-re own.

it's a lot easier to point out the splinter in someone else's eye than come to terms with the plank in yours, or something along those lines. i agree that it's annoying and wrong, but (very unfortunately) that's the way the world works. if other countries can make fun of us, then they take the attention away from themselves. though, i don't think they're the only ones. remember the pther terms: the snobby frenchmen, the hated canadians, and the womanizing, mama's-boy italians.

Good point. In fact I'm getting tired of all those extremist in every country, religion.
f.e. UK and US : French are cowards (what about the brave soldiers (poilu) in WWI)
US : it's an enemy, let's nuke them (never heard of fallout ?)
Muslims and some Europeans : everything that happens bad in the world is the fault of the US.
Even idiots in the US that say that 9/11 is made up by the US government.
Give a break and that all those extremists should open a new forum and let people with an open mind help each other with serious answers.
In every case, thanks US (and of course the British) for your support in the WW's. In fact no country could have won the WW's on its own, it was a joined effort. Do not forget this !

That term is in simple terms asserting that our ancestors got here from Africa, no longer unavoidably the folk alive at present that are stated as that. I do hate the interest Black(like crayon colour) nonetheless, I mean technically, we are brown, and that i've got by no skill seen a guy or woman who grow to be truly Black, I in simple terms think of it would be a darker coloration of brown. i assume i could desire to work out the place you're coming from nonetheless, yet in simple terms somewhat. besides, its been happening for this long, why substitute it just to complicate issues. The solutions you get would be in line with individuality, meaning that some human beings like it, and others do no longer. i do no longer understand what to assert appropriate to the full be counted, I mean as long because it truly is not racial, then i'm cool with it.

This is refreshing coming from a non-American.
Thanks, and bear hugs.
I suspect that one of the reasons why the American media is so anti-American is because they have advisors telling them that markets outside the US will buy more as a result.
Newspapers and broadcast media companies are going downhill fast in subscriptions, ratings and advertising revenues. The NY Times has downsized twice in the last 3 years, the last one was a 25% cut in employees and even a reduction of the size of the newspaper! They know they're in trouble here as the country shifts towards internet sources and Fox news, and this seems to be their response.

The actions of a super power have much greater effects than the actions of smaller, less powerful countries. While things are certainly wrong in every country, in many of those cases, the effects of those wrongs are not felt outside their own borders.
When a country as powerful as the United States engages in actions that are clearly unjust, it should expect the criticism that pours in from all sides.
The United States has chosen and worked to be in the position that it is in, and it is a founding principle of the United States that people are free to make their opinions public. That freedom should certainly be extended to others who are affected by the actions of the U.S.
I think if you are a United States citizen (as I am), you should be thankful for the rights and privileges that you enjoy and work to fight the injustices that are perpetrated in your name as a U.S. citizen.
Finally, I don't think that Americans are "picked on." I do, however think that people of other nationalities wrongly assume that the actions of the United States government are done with the full approval of its citizens, which is certainly not the case.

LoL that would require them to own their own shortcomings, and look at themselves. It's always easier to point at someone else as the reason for discontent. And being America, we have a high profile in the world. Makes us a convenient target for finger pointing as the source of the world's woes.

There are many problems in most country but because of the USA's foriegn policy it is easy to complain about american's because for most countries examples of the ugly american, either armed or not, live next door. And you don't have to shoot someones family to be a bad visitor to the country because there is so many ways americans have found to dis the locals. Boorish behaviour upto rape being the spectrum the americans indulge in. In Thailand I watched a american offer a buddhist nun cash for anal and became abusive when she refused. We wouldn't pick on the americans if they didn't live up to the worst stories about the ugly american worldwide.

For a start you wouldn't be speaking German if it wasn't for ALL of the allies especially Britain because America couldn't beat the Germans on their own.The Americans wouldn't of lasted half as long in the short time they were in the war if it wasn't for the Brits.

Being on top qualifies the United States for open criticism. We just need to deal with it. We know our short comings and we also know that everything we do is not always the right thing to do. We will continue to support anyone who needs us. We do however also need credit when credit is due.
