NO-not at all. indira gandhi was a secular primeminister. she was advised not to have sikh guards in inner security circle but she refused.The guard, beant singh was mentally hurt due to operation blue-star, which was carried to flush out terriosts from a sacred reliougs place of sikhs. during operation the sacred place was damadged, though was redone later on.but to take revenge from her, being head of govt. he murdered her. noway he was adopted or anyway related to her. he was an ordinary security guard like many others to guard the prime minister house

No - it was someone else - u c she had been instrumental in operation blue star - that's why she was assasinated - she never adopted a sikh who killed her.
