Seeing the Homosapien is the current form of mankind within the evolutionary structure , yes he would have been a homosapien , the same as jesus was and every other human, including yourself who has walked this earth for the last couple of million years.
Yes you are also a HOMO sapien!
If by trying to use HOMO as a childish reference to Homosexuality I would be curious as to why you wanted to know and of what relevance is it?
