hmmmm i don't know...a few hours and he's in love....i really don't know, if i were you i would give it some time, he may be one of these people who are clingy and possessive and controlling, i mean saying he's in love after a few hours is a bit weird...but if your happy, then good....happy new year

Slow down a little bit, sounds like you are both going at quite a speed. All sorts of things can happen on the first night and people can get 'lost in the moment.' Get to know eachother a bit more first. If this love is meaningful, it will last.

Wow, that sounds like rather a whirlwind. I wish that sort of thing happened to me!!
Only you can tell if he seems genuine... and only you know what you want and how you feel about him.
My romantic side says if you really like him give him the benefit of the doubt and enjoy your time together, who knows where it could lead.... my cynical side says be careful as you obviously don't know him very well after a few hours and go slow to avoid getting hurt.
Whatever you decide to do follow your heart and good luck to you.
If things don't work out as you want them to there is always www.willhecall.com which a fantastic site to turn to for distractions, laughter and advice.

And wondering why, if he’s your worst nightmare, do you still care if he calls?
…So did we!"

For the love of god give him a wide berth! He strikes me as being needy, no one can really say and mean i love after one night. Explain politely that what he said was a bit heavy considering you have only just met, but be gentle as this will probably upset him.
If you think you might actually like the bloke, tell him that you would like to see him again, but as flattering as it may be to have someone who wants to hang of your arm, if he asks to see you alot (especially in the early days) he is probably abit too clingy.
I personally would be freaked out and would be running for the hills.

Love does not happen after a few hours.
You may have had a great night together but put your feet back on the ground and re-asses in a few days times.
Good luck

Sometimes people 'just connect' ! I doubt he knows the meaning of love in just a few hours but you obviously have made an impression on him. Meet him again and take things slowly! I met my husband under similar circumstances.......he didn't tell me he loved me THAT quickly but we just knew we wanted to be together. 18 years on and we are still together!

SLOW DOWN! thats a bit too fast if hes saying he loves you already. suggest having a few dates...in the day time and see how you get on.
This guy could turn out to be a complete nutter, you dont know him at all!

I don't think it's love. Get to know each other and find out more about each other. Once you've done this look deep into yourself and see how you feel about him. It's possible it could be love at first site but u need to make sure before making any drastic decisions
