i recently broke up from my partner after she did the dirty on me and i was wondering is it fair on me and more importantly on the other person if I start looking at finding someone new.taking into account im still in love with her.

Take time to recover. It is not fair to rush into relation only to cure oneself (remember how it feels when your feelings are hurt, don't you?) Try to engage in some activities, meet new people with similar interests and don't force anything ... The slow pace might be the best way now.

Give yourself time. That way, when the right person comes along you will be ready. Only look if you feel ready to find someone new.
