YES! YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO GET TESTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! Considering that you don't know exactly when or how he contracted the virus, there is a definite possibility that he could have passed it to you during unprotected sex.
Go to the doctor and ask for an HIV test. It usually takes about a week or so after your blood is drawn before the results come back. Good luck hun!

Most people develop these antibodies within 3 months of infection. In rare cases, it can take up to 6 months. It would be extremely uncommon to take longer than 6 months for antibodies to develop. Getting tested earlier than 3 months may result in an unclear test result, as an infected person may not yet have developed antibodies to HIV. The time between infection and the development of antibodies is called the window period. In the window period people infected with HIV have no antibodies in their blood that can be detected by an HIV test. However, the person may already have high levels of HIV in their blood, sexual fluids or breast milk. HIV can be passed on to another person during the window period even though an HIV test will not show that you are infected with HIV. So it is best to wait for at least three months after the last time you were at risk before taking the test. Some test centres may recommend testing again at 6 months, just to be extra sure. It is also important that you are not at further risk of getting infected with HIV during this time period. The test is only accurate if there are no other exposures between the time of possible exposure to HIV and testing. The only way to know for sure whether you are infected with HIV is to have an HIV antibody test. It is not possible to tell from any symptoms. there is a period when you have hiv that you dont have any symptoms ...my guess is you do have hiv..

you need to be tested. if a woman has sex with a man without protection and he is HIV positive then there is a risk you might have HIV. Anal sex has an even higher risk than vaginal sex. You need to see your doctor and tell him about it. He will take the blood and send off for the results. You will have to wait a week or two to find out. GOOD LUCK.

GO GET TESTED RIGHT NOW!!! Don't wait. Usually, married couples do not use protection during sex, BUT...the right thing to do before marriage would have been to PROMPTLY escort eachother to the nearest clinic to be tested for HIV as well as all the other STDs after coming clean with eachother about one another's sexual history. Then, you would have needed to be tested again for HIV in, I believe, 3 months (but you would need to get all the particulars on the actual window/timing) You need to do a thorough history on any potential partner: their credit history; their sexual history; their criminal history, etc, etc. That way, you aren't faced with any surprises once you tie the knot. Since you are now married, you need to refrain from all sexual contact with your husband and everyone else and take full responsibility for this life threatening situation and get tested while you are educating yourself in the mean time, and getting involved with all appropriate support groups available for you and your husband. Good luck and Peace!!!

It depends on when he was first infected with HIV and whether or not you had sex with him after he was infected. Regardless of when he claims he was infected, I highly recommend that you have yourself checked out by a doctor as soon as possible as this is the only way to be sure that you have not been infected.

get tested
there is no way of telling if you are infected. It is not necessarily 100% of getting hiv with an infected person. But your chances are high since you did not use protection.

Deopends on IF he contracted it before the last time you had sex. If he did, then you should get tested, if not....then get tested anyway...just in case....
