Maybe, maybe not. You should be able to tell from the furrows if it was a 1, 2 or more furrow plow. If it was 1, it was probably 1 or 2 mules. More mules as you add more furrows. The only other way would be if the headlands weren't plowed yet and you could see where they were turned at the end then you should be able to compare the hoofprints.
