Moveing to Canada.?

Question

I am moving to Canada In the summer from London and I was wondering what I need to do for the move. I have not moved out of the country before so I have no idea about working visa's or setting up bank accounts or anything else I need to do.

Well, if you are planning to move this coming summer, i.e. in six months or so, and you have not already looked into the process of immigration, visa's, etc. ... it is very likely you are going to have to alter your plans somewhat.

If you have a job/employer already lined up, then it is possible that you you may be able to get a work visa in time for a summer move. Otherwise, well ... I would look into things as soon as possible.

You cannot work, rent, get utilities, phone, or bank account until you have a Social Insurance Number (SIN) which you get at time of being issued a temporary resident visa, work visa, student visa, or permanent residency.

a good plan would be to find out all that stuff in london. try to do it more than a few seconds before you move. the immagration folks will tell you every thing you need to know. and your bank can handle all your banking needs. working visa there aint no work here 3/4 of the country is unemployed

Things are changing all over the world...go to the Canadian Embassy in London and you will get all the details that will permit you to come in...if not, pack and go at your own risk of being turned back cause you did not follow the rules and regs

well a few of my friends were going to move to canada from the us and they said something like you need to have at least $2,000.
not tooo sure about it but that is what they said. but i did find a website for you. located below for all you need to know..
