I am trying to achieve a six-pack (lean body). Is my diet plan good?
Morning 7am - Juice (Variety of Fruits and Vegetables).
Snack - A random fruit.
Lunch - 2 servings of Roti (Indian bread made from whole flour with around ~120 calories). It is served with cooked kidney beans.
Snack - A random vegetable.
Dinner - 1 serving of Roti with cooked kidney beans.
My exercise plan - 20 minutes on the treadmill. (1.0 incline at 6.5 speed). Lift weights for about ~20 minutes. 20 Minutes of cardio exercise.
-This will be done 7 times a week.
Current height - 6 " 3
Current weight - ~180
Current age - 18
Is this a good overall diet plan? I don't want to hurt my body in any form.

First of all, in response to one of the other answerers who suggested good fats be eaten with carbs - butter and cheese are not good fats. They are saturated fats.
As for the diet plan you've suggested, there's not nearly enough variety, I can't see any essential fatty acids, the breakfast isn't nearly big enough, it's really just bad. Eating that same stuff every day every day every day will have you bored out of your mind within a week, which is one of the many reasons people fail when they go on a diet.
If you want to do it properly, go and see your doctor or a dietician. They will help you work out a plan that is age-appropriate, healthy, effective, and do-able.

No, this is not. I have been a personal trainer for 3 years and from what you have written down, your body will not be consuming enough calories, which instead of giving up fat...your body will hold onto it, thinking your body is being starved. You say you are 180 lbs. Your caloric intake aim should be 1,500 calories a day. You should be consuming no more than 25 grams of fat and make sure you get your carbs from fruit and vegetables, which you have listed. Stay away from processed sugars and white bread. Try wholewheat or wholegrain. It tastes the same. You have done 40 minutes of cardio each day, which is a great amount of exericise and adding strength training will help tremendously. Remember to add a 5 minute warm-up and a 5 minute cool down, or else you could compromise your heart's condition by switching it's pace so rapidly. There is a great, great site that I reccomend to all of my clients. It is free and it helps you with food suggestions, nutrition and exercise information and it even keeps track of calories and your own personal plan for you. It is called, RealAge.com
Good luck on your journey to the new and healthier you!

More protein. Always have a healthy fat with your carbs- like cheese with your fruit, real butter with your bread. 20 minutes of cardio is not enough. eight training needs to be done every other day so your muscles can heal and grow. you really need a good "how to" book to guide you properly. also don't forget proper high quality supplements. 180 is very thin and you don't want to lose any weight so make sure you eat plenty. body builders usually eat 5 or 6 very balanced meals with fat and protein in the right quantities at each meal.

It looks nice, but I'd suggest that you change up your order for every day of the week. Eating the same foods can prove unhealthy. Switch around your diet. for example, monday: green beans and rice, tuesday: potato and meat served with rice, wed: kidney beans, and so on. Make sure your body gets everything! Don't let it get bored cuz you know how that feels lol (im assuming)
MAKE SURE YOU EXERCISE. Can't stress that enough!

Your entire day plan is focussed on using more of carbohydrate and there is little protein used by you.
Any ideal meal should have Optimum protein 1gm to 1.5gms of protein=1kg body weight=2.2lbs body weight
low sugar, low fat, low carbohydrate with essential fatty acids, adequate fiber, herbs for cleansing, minerals like Iron,Calcium, selinium, chromium,Magnesium, and 15 more in the list plus for every 44lbs=20kgs of body weight -you should be consuming 1 liter of water- which are called Recommended Daily Allowance- This is available through Cellular Nutrition program -popular in 63 countries,60 million unsolicited testimonials,26yrs !!

You actually probably need more calories and consider protein chicken and fish. If you are vegetarian I recommend seitan. You might also want to consider a day of rest during the week to allow your muscles to repair so they will build into a six pack not just flatten out.
