Hi there...consider purchasing some Nature's Miracle Just For Cats found worldwide at most pet stores. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas.

We've tested nearly all enzyme neutralizers available in the marketplace for our exotic cats which have stronger urine than domestic cats and found that Nature's Miracle Just for Cats has always worked the best.

There are two things that you can do. First, there is a product called Nature's Miracle that you can purchase from PetSmart or Petco. You use that where the cat peed at and it gets rid of the smell. The other more expensive route to take would be to call a professional carpet cleaner and ask them if they could order you a gallon of a product called Hydrocide (from Interlink, formerly Bridgepoint). With the Hydrocide, you take a gallon bucket and mix half water and half Hydrocide and dump it directly on where the cat peed. Take a shopvac and extract the water from the carpet. I personally like the Hydrocide better because not only does it rid the carpet of the smell, it also treats the subfloor underneath the area where the cat urinated.

promote intestinal (colon) motility. a patch of the padding to do a really good job. Whenever cats are having unusual toilet habits, it's also important to check for physical problems that may be causing it. Infections, diabetes, and other diseases can change the behavior of a normally litterbox trained cat. Check with your veterinarian on these issues so that you don't just clean the carpet and overlook a possible physical problem.
