What is peroxide and does it help in healing the burn under my underarm that was caused when I waxed it. Or rubing a slice of tomato be a better choice for 4 or 5 nights(that was what on of the users suggested) or putting on vitamin E oil. Th burn is 2 shades darker than my skin and it it is a darker patch under my left arm. Any Suggestions that will HELP?

Peroxide is a first aid antiseptic best used when your wound was new. If all you have is a dark mark after 3 weeks you probably did not tear the skin. The discoloration will last a while, but will fade gradually. If you want to lighten dark marks faster use a OTC cream with hydroquinone 2% like Porcelana skin fade cream or Barielle skin whitening cream (these work great on dark knees, elbows, & acne marks too.) 100% Vitamin E applied to skin is also great on old/new scars or strech marks. Put the tomatoes on your sandwiches.

I don't know why everyone feels like they should rub food on their burns...butter, oil, tomatoes...it's not a wise thing to do. The mark will disappear eventually. You damaged the skin, and it's scarred. There are some creams and lotions that can help- aloe is one. Talk to a pharmacist, they'll help.

Peroxide is a chemical that cleans out injuries and lifts away bacteria. If the skin isn't broken, it's probably not helpful to put it on.

The best thing you can do is give it time.

if you dont want hair there just remove the hair. simple as that.
