Do some aerobic exercise (anaerobic like weightlifting won't help), especially take a walk outside in the fresh air. If you feel yourself get drowsy, do some jumping jacks or something. If you want to stay inside, watch a scary horror movie, it will get your heart rate up! And yeah, drink up that caffeine. Actually, keep drinking alot, you will have to get up and go to the bathroom :)

try exercising and staying physically active. It should keep you up pretty good. Also buy some emergen-C powder, it helps keep you energized, without being UN-healthy and it's not, high in calories, caffeine, and sugar (like soda, coffee, ect)
try not to look at the clock, or think of the time, and also think of things that keep you awake, without staying still. Don't do things that are too energy taking (pull-ups, running, and other extreme exercises.) maybe just the simple in place jogging, and if a swing-set is available also try frequently swinging. If it is cold where you live, also try spending more time outside, the brisk air will help keep you awake.
Hope I helped, happy new year!

well.. you can try cat-napping. have a small nap earlier in the day, and then stay awake the rest of the time.
But if you want to stay awake the whole time.. eat things like apples. Apples give you more energy than caffeine does. Caffeine is just a stimulent that will make you crash hard when it wears off. Get out -- get fresh air. Go to the gym and get blood (and in turn, oxygen) circulating. Your head will feel awake with the blood and oxygen pumping through your body.

The key is not to do anything monotonous or not to sit around at all. Forget energy drinks and stuff, they do not help you after you have beenup for 24 hrs + Just do something active, and the hardest part is the point that you have been up for 24 hrs. Once you get past that you will feel like crap, but will not have the urge to sleep. It is all will power, when you really want to sleep, it is really difficult to fight it off. But you can do it man, just keep busy and resist!

well since you don't start until thursday you have time to readjust your sleeping pattern... you should start sleeping around the time you'd normally need to sleep to start getting used to it and to stay awake you can try working out, drink lots of water so peeing keeps you up, and just stay on your feet
