No, you would be gaining weight. When you do not eat often, your body starts hoarding the calories from the food you do eat and saves them because it does not know when it will receive more calories. So when you need to use calories throughout the day it tends to be muscle you are burning, not fat. And what is the biggest muscle you have - YOUR BRAIN!

To lose weight, eat a reasonable amount of calories and spread them into 3 meals per day and 3 snacks. Snack halfway between meals and one right before bedtime.

Regular tea also has an ingedient that makes weight loss more difficult - drink de-caff or just water. Save your calories for the fiber, fats and proteins you need to consume to stay healthy.

Yes you would be taking in very few calories, but you will also make yourself very sick if you continue to do this!!!
Eating that little is very harmful. You need various different vitamins and other nutrients from ALL food groups (even a certain amount of FAT, believe it or not).

If you want to lose weight, eat 3 regular meals per day, and healthy snacks in between to keep you feeling full (like fruit, or a yogurt). And get exercise.

What you're doing is the worst you could possibly do, because your body will start to think it's being starved, and will store your excess fat in attempts to self-preserve. You'll end up doing more harm than good.

I used to think that way as well, I would have tea with melba toast in the morning and lunch, then drink lots of water. I lost weight, but when I ate a sandwich, I gained some weight back then eventually more and extra. Trust me, eat small meals every 3 hours and go for longs walks or gym everyday. That would work

Taking less calories per day will definitely make you loose weight. But be careful because your diet is not the best way to loose weight. Tea cannot replace the nutrients you get from eating food.
The healtiest and effective diet that is safe is what they call GI diet the acronym of Glycemic Index. Search this on the internet there are many sites for this diet. GI diet produced a chart of list of food from low to high Glycemic index.

Girl, eat a couple more meals! Eat roughage (veg) if you don't want fatty food. Your body won't have energy to burn the calories.

Green tea is good, though. A couple cups w/a green tea supplement would be good. You don't want too much because of fluoride in your toothpaste and tap water.

Drink at least 8 cups of water, too.

You know those pictures of the starving African kids, and their bellies stick out? That's what will happen to you. Your body will fight to conserve fat by giving up muscle. You're in real danger of starvation.

Are you anorexic? Maybe you don't even need to lose weight. If your BMI is between 18 and 25, you're fine.

Get to a doctor or dietician and figure out how to eat normally.

Tehcnically, yes, but that is unhealthy. As a matter of fact, that is damn near anorexic. Losing weight successfully is with proper diet and exercise. Have you seen "The Biggest Loser"? People on that show lose over 200 pounds! I mean, losing weight in a healthy way is possible, it's just that most people aren't committed enough.

Sure you will lose weight

But be warned that when you go back to eating differently you will gain all the weight back plus some...about 1/3 more than you lost to begin with.
