Hi There

Sorry to hear you are in pain.
You do need to visit a medical professional quite quickly.
If the pain you are experiencing in on the lower right side of your body and you are also suffering a high temperature and some vomiting, it could well be a grumbling appendix. If this is the case you need to get it seen to quickly. I have no wish to frighten you but although the body does not require the appendix, if it ruptures, it can be fatal. It may well be something else that ails you but because of the possibility of what it might be you really need to get yourself checked out swiftly. I hope this helps and i hope you are feeling more comfortable soon.

It could be anything from really bad indigestion to appendicitis or an injury. Can you describe where in your side it is? Above or below waist? Left or right? When did you last eat something? Have you been in any accidents, falls or rough sports? Are you running a temperature?

I would try a hot water bottle or hot bath as well as the pain killers, and take hot water to drink.

If the pain does not ease, then call your GP or out of hours GP cover. You could also check out NHSdirect for advice.

Sounds like an appendix problem. With the pain and feeling sick I am almost sure. Get to a doctor or an A&E dept at a hospital now while you are able to do so.
Hope all goes well. Happy New Year.

I would recommend that you either call your physician or go to the closest ER. Depending on where the pain is, it could be that you're having a problem with your appendix or any number of things. Don't eat or drink anything else until you have either been cleared by your physician or an ER doctor. Don't wait, as this is likely to not get any better.

Hi
If the pain is on your right side just under your rib cage, then it could be a gaul bladder problem, but in any case you should seek medical advice as soon as possible.

Don't take anything until you have a diagnosis. Pain killers effect the liver. Consult NHS direct asap.
