i feel sad 4 the prosecution of saddam, was he a tyrant or not is important now ,when he surrendered and lost his all and is a refugee, to hang him is a worse example of virtues like mercy, forgiveness.some argue that the iraq government scentenced him to death and mr.bush has nothing to do with it,IS NOT THE PRESENT IRAQI GOVERNMENT A PUPPET OF THE WHITE HOUSE? an outsider to decide the fate of a country's leader rather than it's citizens(iraquis) is totally outrageous !

Saddam punished those who raised the voice againt the rule of the country. What Amercan or any other country do if there is some voice of agitation against the country...I think no country will bear the person or the community who is raising against the country they are living. Shittes were spying for Iran during the Iran-Iraq war so he gave them the punishment.Just like the Hitler the Great had done by punishing the traiter of Germany.
The execution of Saddam will result in great and more great repultion againt the enemy forces alll over the world.

Well, if you think about it, it is better then when they cut off Americans heads and tossed the head around like a foot-ball. They were innocent, had nothing to do with Bush, but were killed. Or setting the body's on fire and clubbing a already dead person. That is barbaric!!! Saddam was lucky to have died under Bush's rule. His own people would've done far worse to him. To some Iraqians, justice was served. What about Saddam's victims? Think of them. Have you seen what Saddam has done? It was not barbaric. As a Christian I'm sad that Saddam died not excepting Jesus and I believe in forgiveness. Life in prison would've been good for me.

I will tell you this...to think there weren't political forces involved in the trial and hanging of Saddam, is to be naive. This man was doomed from the start.
Was he a bad guy? I don't know. Why don't I know? I don't trust the media, plain and simple. They are bought and owned; keep your eyes open.
All we know is what the media tells us. How fragile is the role of the media as watchdogs? I'll tell you; there is a provision in the Patriot Act that allows the president to take over the media. Well, has there been a shift since 2004? I think so.
Could it be that this administration has control of our media without our knowledge?
The possibilities are chilling.

No.no,no,no............Bush was fast asleep when Saddam was executed. How can you blame Bush for this ?
He is completely innocent.
He didn't even know it.
In fact Bush wanted to save Saddam but unfortunately he got tired and fell asleep early, yesterday.
Soooo.... you see, he is not guilty.
Saddam was held responsible for killing 185 Kurds.
So what if PINOCHET was responsible for killing 3000 political rivals ??
So what if Modi [C.M. of Gujarat state of India] is responsible for giving 'TACIT COOPERATION' in killing of hundreds of Muslims ?
So what if you are looking forward to justice for mass murdering in Sarajevo etc??
So what if killing of millions of Japanes in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, is not cosidered "CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY" ??
No doubt that Saddam was a dictator and there are always some flaws with dictatorships, but he took Iraq to such a greater hieght that only few Muslim countries could reach.
The fact that, US & west put together can not rebuild Iraq & its glory as it used to be during the reign of Saddam, his elimination will be remembered by majority of peace loving people as "MURDER" and a crime against International Law.
While invasion of Iraq has proved to be futile and its objective yet to be achieved, the US & allies will be responsible for further violence and terrorism in the region.
REMEMBER THIS.........
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

both Saddam and Bush are man-eaters.Saddam is better than Bush.he never tortured citizens of other country and he would accept his revenge against the innocent.but Bush is totally a cunning fellow.he used to filter and take the wealth and resources of a country by 'helping' them....he is 'the world's greatest bribe accepting 'police man''.Americans had also showed him their disbelief and he is totally helpless...........so, Saddam had been executed it's time for Bush's execution...who's ready for it?

As sala'amu alei'***, aziza.
[Peace and blessings be upon you, friend. Arabic]
Please do not confuse the issue. He was hanged by the Iraqis, not the Americans and I believe they told the Americans and others after the event.
Yes, it was not in good taste, but, they did this as an intended insult to the Ba'athists.
May Peace and Blessings be upon all of you.
Ma sala'amah, ya aziza.
[Vaya con Dios. Arabic]
Kul'am wa antum bikhair.
[Happy New Year, in Arabic]

President Bush did not set the date of Saddam's execution. Saddam was tried, found guilty, sentenced to hang, and executed by Iraq that set the date of his execution.

Are you kidding?! Saddam and Bush are both mass murderers and they both deserve to hang - and on their most holy days to boot! Saddam caused unbelievable misery to *millions of people*, and all you can do is whine about him being hung on Eid? Would it make you feel better if we hung Bush on Christmas then? (it would me).
Get over your sick religion - I've long since gotten over my own - and maybe you'll see things with a clearer head.
And by the way, it was the Iraqi people who tried, convicted and gave him an all too easy death.
