I had my third son almost 4 months ago, by c-section (all three were c-sections). I don't remember having this problem so much after the first two, but right now sex is extremely painful. Without being too graphic, I'll just say that as soon as any penetration starts I am in a lot of pain. The pain is not anywhere near my scar or abdomin, so I don't think it's from the c-section. Please help! Is this at all normal? Just something to work through and it will get better?

no honey, it shouldn't be that way at all...I'd suggest heading to the ob/gyn asap!! You could've developed one of several problems: there may be infection, you may have developed endometriosis (although the doctor doing your c-sections should definitely have noticed something like this), it could just be your hormones, or there may be some other problem. Only your doctor will be able to tell you for sure what the problem is.

Have a look here and see if this helps at all

I agree with everyone else on here. If this is a couple of WEEKS or longer after the childbirth you might have a problem ,but i wouldn't get overly worried...but i would get it checked sooner rather than later.., and maybe hold off on the sex for a little while.

Just go to the Dr. and explain...maybe something is wrong...I never had pain after the birth of my children and resumed lovemaking within 3 weeks of birth

considering it's not RIGHT after childbirth, like a week or sooner since coming home, but...I'd check with your doctor to see if there's something else going on there!!

doesn't sound normal at all, I'd go for a vag exam and ask my doctor if something is wrong.
