Tonite my friend said that was written in a book 50 yrs ago to stop looking love will come to you when you least expect it. Up until tonite I thought that was true. But I have to say my friend has a good point, heck no, you have to look these days.

I gues that depends on how you interpret the quote.
My best friend turned into my love,, then my husband. I was not looking for that in him or anyone else at the time. It just happened. I think it would be better to say if love is there it will show itself. Not it will come find you no matter where you are.
Get it?? Go meet people,, go have fun & if it's right you will know it.

U dont look for love i mean it true u keep going out with girls and meet new poeple hopeing that u find the real love with but still it not something u look for sometimes love is right infront of u and u don't see it like an old friend that u from ever u just feel that u have feelings u never had 2words her so if u look or no u'll find ur love soon or later just pray 2god 2give u some1 love u back .

Yes lve been told this on many an occassion...but hey l figure if you dont put yourself out there...no-ones gonna come to you.
Best thing is to start a hobby as a group situation and then you have a start for meeting people that share the same interests.
Thats my new years resolution......and hopefully l may come across someone but if not..l am having a good time doing what l like to do best

False. I f it's like 30 years after you stopped 'looking for love' and you came across someone you share mutual affection with it would be more of a coincidednce rather than love 'coming to you'. Love doesn't come to anyone it's a person that comes to you or rather, into your life/you into theirs. A little heart floating in the air with no person isn't going to be of much good. I don't do Cupid. Happy Valentines day to everyone that's going to spend it alone..sigh.

This may sound silly but it worked for me. I had a bad relationship and then a string of bad dates shortly after and then decided i was done with the whole love thing. I moved into a new house and became friends with my neighbor. Its funny because we have now been together and happy for three years now. So i believe that sometimes love falls in your lap and there is no need to waste time looking for it.

It is the age old pursuit of love and happiness. The coolest part of life is that you never know when anything good or bad is going to come around the corner. How you do it is your choice---but leave yourself open to what life has in store. Is love the only thing you are interested in??? What do you want for you...first of all, there is a future you need to be concerned about. Love isn't evertything.

I believe its true. When your looking its almost like your putting too much pressure on yourself. I went for months convinced the "right" one was right around the corner. turned out to be a bunch of guys looking for fun while i was looking for love. Then out of the blue I ran into and ex from high school. Hadn't seen him in 2-3 years. We decided to have dinner and catch up. That was a year ago and we haven't been apart yet.

true love will find you put it this way if your looking for some thing over time you will be come impatiant and get in a hurry and maybe be quick to choose that wrong person for you right.true love will find you i,m a perfect example i married twice because i wanted to have love and neither worked out but then i stoped looking and it found me now i,m in love and am loved by the person that found me when i stoped looking ok.

You shouldn't worry too much about having to "look" for love, sometimes looking at what makes you love yourself reflects on other people, by seeing you happy with who you are and what you are about, others gain respect for you and enjoy your company... and usually if you have your eye on a certain someone, they will notice you right away, which can lead to bigger and better relationships down the road.

Yes love does happen when you least expect, a person can come up to you when you are looking your very worst which is the strangest thing to me.
