How is that possible?
It's a board game sold in many retail stores.

Yes, because it opens up doorways to the dark side.
When I was a kid, my Mother bought me a Ouija Board for some occasion, probably not thinking of the consequences. We used to "play" with it all the time.
My Mother passed away and in cleaning out the house, I ran across it & kept it just for sentimental reasons - didn't use it, just stuck it in a drawer.
Later a friend came over and we were discussing Biblical teachings (he's a real strong Christian) and at the time I was a relatively new one, at that time only being saved about a year.
He said he picked up on something not of God and he felt as though my house needed to be blessed and given back to God, so we did so.
I mentioned this to another friend because it upset me. She asked if I'd gotten rid of that Ouija Board & I told her no. She said get it out of your house immediately, so I did so.
Later that same friend returned for another evening of talks on Biblical teachings and I asked him if he still felt that same feeling. He said no and I told him the story. He agreed that is probably what he had picked up on.
My advice - don't buy them, don't mess with them - they are NOT of God anymore than consulting a psychic - which we are strictly forbidden to do.
I've been told if you burn one you can hear screams, just not something a Christian needs to be around.
If you have one, get rid of it.
God Bless!

Because, it is a resource for spirits to work through. While it's sold as a game, and mass produced, it is still of medium of communication. Plus, the user is asking the presence to come, giving it a legal right to be there. We can invoke things into any medium, but as far as this board goes, it's the perfect vehicle.

I can tell you story upon story of Ouija board horror; my friends and I played with it often. If you want to know the details, please email me at bibleprophecyministry@yahoo.com.

Trust me, these things are dangerous. I've personally witnessed what they can do. Think "The Grudge" in real life.

Ouija boards, like other occult tools and practices, may be used to open channels within our minds that enable us to access information for ourselves instead of relying on knowledge that has been structured by society to reinforce our social institutions and maintain our beliefs in religious or scientific doctrines.

So occult practices become tools for liberating our minds. But a free mind is a threat to our social institutions because it is free to challenge them and think independently of the narrow constraints these institutions typically impose. That makes free minds very dangerous indeed.

All of the universe is energy given temporary structure through information sets which provide instructions for how various things are manifested. Occult studies sometimes enable us to download inhuman instruction sets which is dangerous.

If you suddenly possessed the instruction set for creating tornadoes you might inadvertently manifest a tornado. Not a good idea, but it can happen. Download the instruction set for creating a locust and you may manifest a plague of locusts.

People accused of being demonically possessed have really only accessed innapropriate instruction sets.

Usually when someone has gotten their reality construction sets scrambled up they will sort themselves out and discard those not related to manifesting themselves and the life experiences typical for a human being.

.In some ways going to church can be even more dangerous. You can never be sure what kind of people attend churches and for what agenda either. I have an old Ouija Board I bought at an antique store.I would be more curious about it's history and the people who owned it back then than it's alleged supernatural abilities. Many people have many illusions about things regardless and just their own imaginations and fears are enough to sell fantasies and nightmares.

Ouija boards work, but not in the way you would expect. First of all, there are no such things as spirits, demons, or portals. Secondly, the movement of the planchette is caused by the ideomotor effect, the unconscious movement of your hands and fingers. It is physically improbable to talk to the dead.

retail store ones- no. Real ones made at the right time, and charged correctly, yes. They can let in spirits that you really don't want. It takes alot of practise and knowlegde to be able to do it correctly though

Sadly, yes. If ouija boards could open a gateway to hell, I imagine there'd be a lot more zombies walking around Wal-Mart.

haha ya, Parker Bros (maker of monopoly) make this game.

Honestly it is all psychological! People that believe this are just creating this terror in their head. Have you ever actually met a credible and intellectual source who have said this actually happend to them first person? no! Its always some one they know who is probably wierd in the first place.

I think that it's more the theory of dabbling with the idea of the black arts, that may get you interstead more in wicca, and pull you away from the gospel.
