33In any case, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!
34"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 35Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'[a]"

Luke 13:33-35 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

God prophized that Jesus would not be accepted in His own land by His own people.

The next time they shall see Jesus, they will know without a doubt that He is infact the son of God of whom He said He was. And that will take place after the crucifixion and the ressurection.

In the latter days, there will be many believers lead astray by the enemy. Yes, they are believers, but they are lead astray because they choose to follow there own fleshly desires instead of walking in the Spirit of God.

As it says in Galatians Chapter 5, "walk in the Sprit, and you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh" The chosen people reject prophets that are sending the Truth forth because they desire darkness more. They choose to walk in the flesh and fulfil the lust of the flesh because it is more real to them than promises or faith.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When you read of Jerusalem, you must not think of it literally as it is today. When reading these and other scriptures, you must see the spiritual truth or meaning not the literal words.

God desires that his children be obedient as today in our world. Christians, meaning those that follow the teachings of Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures must study the Truth, and apply it daily with faith. It is impossible to please God without Faith.

There is a way which seems right to a man, but the ways there of leads to destruction. Jerusalem is trusting what they think is the right way to goe instead of trusting God. It is frustrating for God because he loves his people, but few of them will follow.

Jerusalem will not see or understand the Truths of God, The Bible, until they first open there hearts to Him. Its not about saying literally "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord" Its about believing it. If Jerusalem believes through faith those words then they will be obedient to the Lord and follow him.

In this world, there is darkness and there is light. Darkness represents the world and the light is Jesus Christ. Christians are to let there light so shine before men so that they may see there good works and glorify there Father which is in Heaven. Jerusalem needs to let the light of Jesus Christ so shine! Christians everywhere in the world not just the literal Jerusalem.

Hopefully this answer was clear. All the best!

Well, I think that Jesus was reflecting on how the Jewish leaders of not only His day but of the Old Testament had failed to heed the warnings of the Old Testament Prophets who had been sent by God the Father.

And in the context of the particular verses which you have quoted here, Christ is pointing out His very own rejection by the Jewish leaders of His day in that they never accepted Him as the Son of God but would rather accuse Him of blasphemy when He would make this assertion(that He was the Son of God).

So in the Old Testament, the nation of Israel rejected the Prophets sent by God so God came down from His heavenly realm to try to get the job done. But, the scribes and pharisees still rejected Him and sentenced Him to suffer and die on a cross. But even all of this is prophesized by the prophet Isaiah in the Old Testament.

Finally, I think we have to remember that it wasn't the nails that kept Jesus on that cross, but His love for you and me dear friend.

I would interpret that as Israel is on the path of it's own destruction, due to choosing to become a terrorist state. God has sent to Israel many a prophet, and again Israel has chosen to kill him/ not listen/whatever....probably some Palestinian.
Now what is this international version? Is this some attempt to make up a world religion.? Won't work. All based on globalist lies.

Jesus Christ commenced showing his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the older men and chief priests and scribes, and be killed. That even thought he wanted dearly to save the people they would reject him ,thereby lose his protection. And he would not come back to them until they accepted him and provided a blessing to him in the name of God.
