i been hunting with bows for 40 years. i go to public and privet lands in Ohio and Kentucky and Alabama. keep it up. bow hunting is a dieing sport. i have 3 bows, 1 is over 75years old, i no longer use that one, it earned retirement. 1 is over 40 years old, hand made by Fred bear himself, it is a very light weight recurve, early design for the compounds, Mr.bear built the recurve experimenting with fiberglass to find a strong light weight bow for hunting, it is a wonderfull bow, 60 pound draw weight at 28 inch pull, i use 32 inch arrows, so i getting at least 70 pound out of it, i also use a bear 44 mag compound, it is about 20-plus years old, another great bow. there are new designs and they are great, but i am old school and use what works for me.

Just like you, they need food, water and a place to sleep that offers them security. Find that place, look for evidence of whatever it is you're hunting, and set up shop.
