I have a friend who owns a condo overlooking Lake Ontario and she is a successful businesswoman working for the public relations company.

Since I'm a hardworking Christian and I have God and Jesus in my heart will the rewards God is giving me in Heaven be much better than owning a condo overlooking Lake Ontario, going to plenty of rock concerts, owning lots of nice clothes, furniture, stereo equipment, owning a luxury car and going on nice vacations?

I wish that I can get rewarded the same way my friend does and it hurts me that I can't get the rewards my friend gets and I think we should both be rewarded equally for our hard work.

The rewards you'd be getting into Heaven, assuming you even make it there, are really an eternity of utter boredom. i'm instructed that the first component you spot upon transferring into Heaven is a great signal that asserts "Boredom Is A distinctive feature." inspite of the indisputable fact that it received't take you lengthy to quit being concerned even if it truly is or not. you'd be bored out of your thoughts, making a track hymns and shouting great praises always. on the different hand, what makes you imagine you may want to also get there? Do you belong to the Baptist church? have you ever knelt earlier the preacher's altar and performed the particular incantation? have you ever then received the particular bypass for Judgment Day? If not, do not also be wondering about going to Heaven. All who have not performed the holy Baptist incantation, are happening to Hell, in the present day following the Judgment. So your question is amazingly mute, Mr. Rockintrain. Your eternal destiny is one in each of two consequences: eternal boredom or eternal damnation. nicely, sure, the girl with the abode is doing superb; yet her happiness is largely momentary. She too is destined both for holy boredom or damnation. (by the fashion, all of us in Hell has worms, between different issues. i can quote it verbatim good out of the Bible)

You're looking for the wrong "rewards," first of all. Life doesn't work that way. If you truly have Jesus and God in your heart, then the greatest reward should already be yours. If you're looking for condos, rock concerts, and stuff, then maybe you don't truly have anything in your heart other than the desire for material possessions.

Isaiah 61:10

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Salvation is greater than any condo....ever made. You should know this, and want to share it with your friend!

Plus, I have noticed concerning "stuff"....G-d will never give you something unless you can be happy for someone who has it.

David

Okay, try to understand this concept: her reward lasts a very short time. If you go to heaven, your reward (whatever it might be) will last for eternity. Good trade?

we all will DIE.how long till you realize forever is longer than 50-60-70-80years.
stop coveting what your neighbors have.

all that you have God gave you-God will only give you what you can handle-praise God for what you have and know that other peoples pride will be their downfall.
