Exodus 3:10
Do church people believe every story in the Bible, not matter how strange or absurd?
How do the minds of church people work?
This is at least my third Bible-nonsense question, and in each one I'm getting church people's answers trying to justify this nonsense.

How do church people's minds work? Are they teaching their kids this nonsense?

And Pharaoh's servants changed their rods into snakes too, but Aaron's snake ate their snakes.
I am but a simple troll, but this is really stretching my credulity.

I read a post that said Parker Bros. Ouija Board was a portal to demons. From MANY of the things I have seen on YA I think that the American thought structure is Medieval. I am not joking.

Hmm yes I love how you call us "church people" you know that ranges very largely. And no not all "church people" believe in every story in the Bible. It has mistakes. No crap I see that. It holds barely any scientific value. No crap I see that again. Most people that go to a church and are "church people" aren't so stupid. Don't cha think there is more value to these stories than scientific and logical proofs? How do church people's minds work? Well thats just like asking how does a random group of people of all ages think about the United States President. Are they teaching their kids this nonsense that you seemly have all worked out for yourself and you see no way that maybe some how spiritually these stories in the Bible hold some ground. Well yes they do. It just matters on how they teach it. You can range from fundamentalists to contextualists kiddo.

I don't think your question has anything to do with the snake, but hey.

It's a matter of faith.

My personal belief is that the bible is not 100% literal. Some of the stories may be misunderstood by our culture, because we are very far removed from the culture of the early books of the bible.

I think some stories are more valuable as for the moral of the story than trying to understand as literal facts.

I don't, however, discount anything, for I believe God is all powerful.

The real point of the bible is that we were created by a loving God, and (if you are taking Christian) that he sent his son to die for our sins.

Also, it is not anyone's right to judge what others believe or teach their kids. If you don't believe in God, remember, historically you are the minority.

That is not what Exodus 3:10 says. This is what Exodus 3:10 says...

Exodus 3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt

You dont' know what you are talking about. It was Moses who held the rod that threw down the rod and it turned into the serpent.

Exodus 4:1-4 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.

2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.

4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:

I believe in the word of God and I have faith in it. The noncense here is you thinking you know anything about the bible when you dont'.

dear troll!
remember that there's a lot of things that you actually see, feel or know, that you acknowledge it's true and it's happening.
examples:you know and feel that air exist even though you can not see it,when you eat your body digest matter which is converted in energy and some other substances needed for your body to conserve itself,so far cience has not being able to understand how such proceses happen and work....do not worry too much abt trying to understand everything you see or read jehovah has told us that we are far from understanding a lot of things in fact once jesus his son told nicodemus that he had explained things which belong to earth and they did not believe them and they would not either believe celestial things....if something does not make sense from your bible study ask god in a humbly way to make you undestand and you probably will get some help from others....and you know what it's easier to believe abt snake than believing the fact that you can think!!!!

sure. (replace: My mistake the guy above me is real, inspite of the indisputable fact that, it change into Aaron that threw down the rod.) the arrival of blood, sure. truthfully blood - probably God irritating - No, the reason the tower of Babel change into equipped ensuing in the confusion of languages, sure. (Their hearts were contained in the incorrect position.) How He were given to Heaven - sure this is achievable it truly is the way it befell. That it befell, sure - actual That He took His body with Him - actual with no doubt that he's the really one in Heaven with a body - No, God the daddy has one too. and that i have self assurance that there are a number of the OT prophets who even were resurrected, so that they have got bodies too. this is really extraordinary in case you do not have self assurance this is achievable. To you, I in all likelihood have self assurance many extra "extraordinary" issues. yet it truly is okay, i'm used to being extraordinary, and extremely sort of like it.

Ask a doctor or a surgeon or an EMS worker if they have ever seen people that should be dead but are miracously still alive ...

If you believe in ghosts then why is there only human ghosts but yet there is no roach or bug ghosts. I kill a bunch of roaches everyday in my house though I have never seen a roach spirit haunt me.

but yet there are pics of human spirits. hmmm why ? perhaps there is a creator who Did create a body and a SOUL. hmmm it makes me wonder...
