You're right when you say that it's his big day too. But it seems he's going a little to far. Don't forget it's your day also.Maybe suggest that he wear only one of the items.... for example instead of the whole attire how about he just where the cowboy boots or just the hat and everything else should look decent. I just don't think everything he is trying to wear is...appropriate for a wedding.

I would definatly let him. I'm getting married in oct. Like you said It's his day too. Let him wear what he wants. If he could myne would go naked. But obviously he cant. But its sounds so cute if that is what hes going to wear. I love that. well have a fun day and a fantastic wedding.

Marriage is always a give and take relationship. In this case he needs to "give it up" and dress the way the bride wants because those pictures will last a lifetime... Do you really want your kids to see you in a bright pink tux twenty years from now? I don't think so. lol

Honestly, I'd put up a fuss. I'd let him know how long I have been dreaming about the day. I'd tell him how I had always pictured it.
If he still wants to wear that, I would tell him that I love him. I would tell him that I care about him, and that I realize that it IS, in fact, his day too... and I would say, "(insert pet name here), I love you, and if that is what you really, truly, more than anything want, then all I want is for you to be happy."
After that speach, he should give in... as long as you put some tears into it!!

It might be his big day, but it's also the BRIDE'S big day. There is no way I'd allow my husband to wear all that. It is tacky and unnecessary, especially when the focus is supposed to be on the bride and how beautiful she looks! It might seem selfish, but I just couldn't let it happen.

Is pink one of your colors?? I don't know about a pink tux!!! I would maybe go for a white tux, the white cowboy boots, and pink tie/accessories under the tux.. Maybe try suggesting that!

I am sorry, He wouldn't ruin the wedding I have planned since I was twelve years old. That's just tacky and wrong.

He showed such good taste in choosing you has his bride...what happened that he lost the good taste in picking his clothes?!!
I'd just ask him if in 50 years he would look at the wedding pictures and be glad that is what he chose. If he says yes, I would remind him that being married includes being telling the truth to each other.
In other words...nope, I wouldnt be okay with my groom being like that. :)
