Just 'mildly' murmur "Diana jumped off the shelf''. They will understand. It is natural for your doll to commit suicide. If you were an abusive owner I suggest donating the collection to Doll Abuse Services or calling 1-800-ICANTCAREFORMYDOLLS, its a great supportice hotline with the inspirational motto: when theres a will, theres a way. Your other dolls will probably follow in Diana's heroic path. To stop this, just encase them so they can't get out. Good luck, and i do HIGHLY suggest encasing them if you won't donate becuase they may team up and attack you at night. ARMY OF PORCELINE DOLLS UNITE!!

Take the doll to your mom and tell her what happen, Be honest with her and tell her you don't want your grandmother hurt over it but you feel you should tell her too. Ask her how you should handle this and let her know it was an accident. She will understand and I sure she already knows what the dolls mean to you. Just be honest. Better her to hear it from you now then to Waite and think you can superglue it back with out her knowing because the truth will find a way to come out.

You said it fell but you did not mention any damage so, no harm no foul. It there is damage, there are doll repair shops for just such a mishap. While it will never be like new a good repair shop can repair most damage, including damaged porcelain. Consider displaying them in a case or lower shelving above a soft floor covering. Good luck in your hobby. Check any big city yellow pages.

life is full of mishaps like that. dont be so hard on yourself. you didnt break it intentionally. just quietly take care of the remains and if asked about it quietly tell the truth. and let them know how badly you feel about it. they should understand because they probably had something like that happen to them too..

Sweety, you are more valuable than any doll and if your mom and Gags love you than they will understand. It was just an accident.

I'm guessing that your upset enough that dear old mom will figure it out as soon as she see's you, tell her, it's not like you deliberately smashed the thing in a fit of anger.

it wasn't done on purpose. tell them but also let them know how upset you are over it. tell the truth. they will understand. put them all in a safer place. maybe a spare room or shelves with a door to lock them up.
