i have a 2 month year old baby and im the best of fathers with him i love him so much but im afraid my Gf aint on the same page.She is lazy and irresponsible .To say it all she was so irresponsible during her pregnancy that she didnt get prenatal care till almost her 8th month into pregnancy.The doctors even told her that was a irresponsible and stupid thing to do.She knew she was pregnant since the second month cause i begged her to go get a pregnancy test and it was positive.She lied she had gone to get care but she didnt go at all till it was very late.Now the baby was born alil under weight and 3 1/2 weeks early from her due date cause doctors couldnt guess the due date that far into her pregnancy .Luckily the baby was born ok .The baby also lives in a very unfit household. Theres a teeneger which is my Gf's brother that makes big fitts for any little thing. I have experience how he bangs the walls yells and harrasses his parents when he dont get his way.i ran outa space plz help

I am a single father of 2 boys that i raised by myself since my youngest was 8 mths old. he is 8 yrs old now. The best thing for u is to get a lawyer, it may cost u but in the long run the baby is better off. also if u know for a fact that there is neglect in the household of the baby,call dcfs and get them on ur side.Any local family agencies that can help u, its best to get in contact with them and do ur best to let them help u. Above all things keep ur nose clean and make sure u have a good environment for ur child at ur place. by the way dcfs in case u didnt know stands for department of children and family services. Good luck I hope that u will get the help u need.

seek legal help asap, my husband went through a custody battle, let me tell you from now, it is hard, even though they say Fathers have Righs its not completely true, the only way you can get custody of your Baby with no hassles is if she is unfit, unfortunately that is the way it goes, the court will not see her lazyness and irresponsibilities as being unfit, she can always depend on welfare as an excuse, my best advice hire an attorney and please move quickly,

Get yourself a good lawyer and sue for custody. Use the fact that she didn't get medical care until she was in 8th month... that will fix her right up.

Talk to your local child protection services and see if there is anything that can be done such as you getting custody. Maybe even talk to a lawyer.
