When i'm with him, he says he's crazy about me. but he thinks we should 'take a break' because he forgets how much me cares when we are apart. shouldn't we still be able to be together even if he's not crazy about me when we don't see each other for a month? doesn't every relationship need work, even marrige?

almost every relationship needs some work somewhere, but if the two of you have been "on break" for a month, i wouldn't waste time on it. in a lot of cases "we need time apart" means "i want to break up but don't want to actually do it." but dont always write it off as an easy way out, he may honestly just want a break. if you want to really see where his priorities are, ask him if the two of you are "allowed" to see other people.

Guys can be a bit difficult to figure out sometimes. They may have different agendas/motives that they might not want to reveal. Also, your guy could be needing a break because he's afraid of getting too close, too fast. Some guys get scared when there's too much emotions stirring up inside and they start to really care for a girl. It may be tough for them to handle at first, so they need time to sort out their feelings. Don't take it wrong or that he's not interested. Give him his space and you'll eventually know the answers to your questions.

The whole fact that he forgets how much he cares about you when you two are apart is reason for concern. Absence is suppose to make the heart fonder, not forget. Sorry, but I don't think this relationship is working.

My opinion is, that two people in love need to work past the stress not run away from it. If hes crazy about you then stick around an work through whats making him need space! marriage is respect and trust and honesty and very hard work
