She's 18, an adult and can make up her own mind. If you two like each other, then I don't see why not? 23 and 18 isn't bad at all. Good luck!

Does she have a job and support herself? Is she good natured and mature for her age? Is she on good terms with her family? I know you said you're "interested" in her. My school teacher once advised the class "Never date anyone you wouldn't marry. Even tho you don't have marriage in mind." I've never forgotten that and it became a guiding factor in my choices of who I dated. I don't think the age difference is significant. But do save intimacy for marriage, if and when that happens. If she pushes for sex, [outside of marriage] I would question what does she want from this relationship.
