I've got a SAMSUNG and it's fantastic.
But I believe PANASONIC are one of the best!

The best lcd is the Sharp Aquos series. They have the best picture and viewing angles.

samsung, or anyone who has a lower refresh rate, meaning how fast the pixels open/close or change colors. usually measured by (ms) i.e. 8ms and lower is great for watching action and sports. I hope this helps.
