I realize that I am going to sound like a complete nutjob but here is the situation. Christmas Eve this mysterious cat showed up. It somehow got stuck in my attic so I got her down. Since then this cat seems to have a "thing" for me. What I mean is that the cat won't leave me alone. It is as if the cat is patrolling my house. It goes from the back door to the front door then to the window next to my bed climbing on the screen. Then to the window with the ac unit in it. She jumps up on the ac and literally knocks on my window with her paws. Then the cat sits on the hood of my truck until she decides to start the routine all over again. After several times doing this then she goes back into the attic and sits on the fan over my bedroom and cries. I find this very strange. I have a feeling that the cat is here for a reason, crazy as that may sound. I am pregnant could this be the reason for my 'visitor'? Anyways I guess my question is what do you think? Serious answers pls

god works in mysterious ways and this could be a calling to you to become closer with him. I can't be more serious than that. if you are questioning yourself you should always go with your first answer and it looks like you know it.

It sounds to me like the Universe (or God, if you like) has sent you a cat. Do you have any room in your life for it? If not, if it's really cold outside, take her to an animal shelter (and if you don't feel too silly, apologize for not being able to accomodate her, and thank her for her attentions). This has actually happened to me twice, but with dogs. On the night that my Dad died, a huge rotweiller showed up on my mom's front stoop (I was spending the night) and stood guard over the house all night, then just went away. While it's true this could mean nothing--just a random coincidence--it doesn't *have* to mean nothing, and I'd rather see it as the dog keeping watch over us as a favor for Dad. Also, a few years earlier, I was taking a walk and a cocker spaniel just trotted up to me and made friends with me. At the time I was in an apartment and didn't need a dog, but it was so endearing that, when I learned it had been taken to the pound, I adopted it. Because of that, I bought a house a year earlier than I had planned, to get it a yard. Because of *that*, my Dad was able to spend a lot of time at my new house, helping fix things up with me. My dad died the next year--before I would have bought a house on my original time table--so if I hadn't adopted the dog, I would have lost all that quality time with Dad. We don't always understand why these things happen... but more often than not, they happen for a reason. Good luck, either way.

Maybe the cat just needs some love. It's the middle of winter. It's cold outside, and the cat is probably hungry. Maybe its family moved away or left it. You were kind to it, so it likes you! I don't know if there is any deeper or higher reason for the cat to be there- but you can either accept it in your life or drive it away.

I think it's the middle of winter and she needs a home. Have you fed the cat at all? That's all it takes to ensure it will never leave you alone.

I have been "found" by a cat in this way, and I absolutely adore him. Let her in, check for an ID tag or ear tattoo. If she has one, take her to the SPCA and they will track down her owners. If not, it's up to you. Feed her, love her, let her love you.

I hope you don't have mice or rats. I don't mean to scare you but maybe you should make sure.
