It made me laugh! It is a cute song from some miss guided boys, I guess, that simply don't understand how the world works. LOL. I can't help it. It is a cute song. I'd like to hear it sung.
I will have to ask my daughter if she owns it.

I don't think that is blasphemy. I believe in God. People are always trying to blame God for their own self imposed conditions. Human nature. Every time you turn around somebody is blaming someone else for something.

I can remember when my kids were real young I would not allow my oldest girl to bring a sign into the house that said "Black Sabbath" on it. Now, I don't think it would bother me so much.

My youngest listens to whatever she wants, always has. She is grown now.

I've been feeding my kids a steady diet of The Pogues and Dropkick Murphy's, so I'm hoping they have better taste than to listen to XTC.

I think that jolie said it best.

I would let my kids listen to anything, but I don't think they'd like this song because I have heard it, and although the lyrics are great those singers sound awful.

It's up to the parents whether or not their kids should hear that song. I read it and even though i don't agree with it I don't see anything wrong with it. The song writer was trying to get a point across.

Let your kids make up there own minds. If you truly believe in Christianity it should stand up for its self. If you sensor your kids they will just want to hear this stuff more. sensor-ship is the first step in brain washing.

Whoever wrote that song doesn't want God to exist.

That's because God gives us teachings that this person probably doesn't want to hear -- teachings that don't jive with his/her chosen lifestyle.

So he/she probably feels the psychological need to talk him/herself into believing that God isn't real. Then, he/she can feel better about his/her lifestyle choices, which run counter to God and to religious teaching.

That's why he/she blames God for things like world hunger (which is our fault, not God's) and disease (which God gives us the intellectual capacity to heal).

I take it you don't know who God is, if you did you wouldn't be posting these lyrics that mean nothing,

John 3:3-7

3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

How you can be born again?
Acts 2:37-38

37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Why don't you read the Bible instead of giving your time and thoughts to this?
Do what is healthy and right for your heart and soul, and it is not this.

Why'd you make me look at that? Now I have to wash my eyes out with soap.

*two minutes later*

I consider it disgusting. It's child abuse.
