Because, as Barbie might say, "thinking, like math, is hard."

The problem lies with Yahoo for not implementing a decent moderation system. Instead of showing the newest questions on the front page, they should show the highest moderated questions.
The problem also lies with the humans manning the keyboards: Who are they? What demographic does Yahoo Answers appear to be targeting? I'd venture to guess that most of these questions are being answered by teens and twenty-somethings (alas, I fall into this category) that are more interested in Britney Spears' crotch shot than a viable solution to world hunger.
While I've been trying to seek out and answer those 'with-merit' questions, I've also been answering other questions that I find entertaining to answer.
If you are really at issue with the questions being asked and the answers being provided, I urge you to ask and answer elsewhere as this site has established it's target demographic and, unfortunately, Britney Spears is more important that starvation to them.
Alternatively, you may consider setting up your own Q&A site. If you'd like to entertain that though, contact me by emailing me via the Yahoo Answers system. I monitor the email address it's attached to.

This is a serious response to who has a problem. God would like you to have the wisdom to know what you can't change and to not waste time on it. You are not making a valuable point at all but you are revealing a potential personality disorder. You should seek some advice on how to deal with it. You are irrationally generalizing and unnecessarily combative.

Hello!
I'd love to answer your question, but haven't a clue as to what that might be. Until then don't pay to much attention to what "you people" say most not all the questions here are rather ignorant. But hey! isn't that what this is about help, advice, suggestions and opinions.. the only questions that is stupid is the one not asked.
Have a wonderful new year!!

Perhaps it is because you insult people, or because you rant, or because you abuse punctuation marks. Whatever it is, I answered your last question. To answer this one, you are the problem here. If you provoke, people will jump. Yes, that's predictable. So?

That's because it's easier for most people to answer stupid questions to get their points than to put thought into and give an answer to a decent question.....my opinion

What was your question?
I've been looking for one with merit. I'll keep looking, maybe I'll find it.
