I tried contacting you but my Email was returned as undeliverable. There are more Catholics in the u.s. then the rest of the Christian religions put together so it must have something going for it. My parents converted to Catholism after taking a course to learn about it. I would say that the very best way of learning about our traditions & beliefs would be to contact your nearest Catholic church to find out when & where lessons are given. I went thru the lessons a few years ago to refresh myself. Also, attending Mass would be informative to you. Part of the Mass is a sermon which uses the gospel as a lesson in morals & applying to our behavior. We also read the ltrs of the apostles. We couldn't possibly go into the detail you want here.
I love our traditions; so many of them go back to early Christianity. I am awed to think that some of them were performed centuries ago.
Also, the Catholic church is the 1st church. Other Christian churches broke away during the Protestant Reformation because their leaders, who were usually Catholic clergy, didn't agree with either our beliefs or traditions. However, when it comes to matters of faith & morals the Church has remained steadfast. Changes which have taken place, e.g.; being able to eat meat on Fridays or going to Mass on Saturdays as well as Sundays are not matters of faith or morals.

Catholics are people who follow the teaching of a cult over the instructions of the apostles and of Christ. The basic triditions of the catholic church are created via new earthly priesthood which is not supported via the new testiment. Christ is the Only High Priest that makes intersession on behalf of the saints unto GOd the Father. The catholic promote a form of Law unto GOD that is not in the bible and there form of lawlessness reflects that they actually do not have salvation. As he who is born again does not sin. The catholic church has altered parts of the Holy Scriptures Including the 10 commandments. In this faith woman have rights below that of men. In fact woman can't be in the clergy at all. Thus when the bible tell is that there are neither jew not greek neither make nor female and indicates all are equal with God the catholic denounce God word. But that is only the tip of the errors of the teaching of the catholic church. The catholics also promote idols and praying to saints yeat the bible tells us not have any gods before GOD and the saints are gods. Thus another error of the catholic faith. The bible tells us to bow to no man nor call any man father other then the Father in heaven. The catholics want you to call all there clergy father and to kiss the rings of the bishops and the pope. In the bible it teaches us that we ahve forgivenes from God 100 percent of the time simply by the asking. There are no word involved in forgiveness period. Jesus has paid the cost of forgivenss 100 percent. Also the teaching of purgortory is not supported by any known cannonized scripture. They aslo practice athien mother of God worship and co redeeming Mary worship with is not supported in scripture. The Catholic church blends the teaching to there popes and bishops with the finished work of the bible in order to substain there cult church. They actually are no different then the JW or the mormons. In other words it is made up and not of God.

There are a lot of them -- too many to list here.
The Catholic Answers web site is a good resource.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church is too.
Both of them are online; you can Google them.

A summary of Catholic beliefs is contained in the Nicene Creed (from the year 325):
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
For a complete description of what Catholics believe, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/index.htm
With love in Christ.

In a quick synopsis- 10 commandments- you must've of heard of them- if not, you can't lie, kill, steal, you can't want what others have not their belongings or their wives and of course you must be faithful if married- and abstinence until marriage--those are basically the mortal sins which you are told by the church you will go to hell if you commit.

Remember, if its not in the bible....don't believe it.
This is what everyone needs to know:
John 3:3-7
3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
How you can be born again?
Acts 2:37-38
37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
