Recently I broke-up with my boyfriend and also very good friend because the truth is we wanted different things in the relationship and he was self-centered,undependable, and basically not what the average female would consider a good boyfriend. I loved him all along though, even though he didn't treat me right. He was and I guess still is a close friend of mine and we understood each other and had many many common interests. Now that we broke up we are trying to be friends but he keeps sending me all these mixed signals; one day he will tell me "i love you, because i can talk to you about anything" and the next day he'll either ignore me or act like an a**hole. Either way, if i miss him or am pissed at him, he's always on my mind. Its killing me. I just want to forget but I can't. Any advice? What can I do?

Think of him like a brother, tell him you think of him that way and he'll probably stop talking to you. You need to move on, think about what you want or don't want in a man or relationship, and find someone new. Get him out of your head, as long as he's lurking around in there he still owns and controls you. I don't know what "closure" you could be lacking here. The "mixed signals" is the admission he can't dominate whoever he is with now like he did you. Time for the old "Let's just be friends" speech. Find yourself a decent man, you don't need to have all the "same intrests", all you need to share is your love and your time.

Just remember, it's not that you miss him, it's that you miss the feeling of being in a relationship, the idea of being in a relationship. You're single now and the fact that you can remember that he was such a jerk should remind you of why you should stay away from this creep. The longer you are with him, the less time you have to improve on yourself so that when you actually meet a great guy, you'll know it. For the mean time, find yourself a rebound guy to like and flirt with. Go out with your girlfriends, check out other guys, and just enjoy life being single. You're so young, why waste anymore of your life over this guy. By thinking and moping over him, you're giving him control of your life. So seize it back!

u ever heard of shopping? =] try to deal with it.....think about the reason why u broke up with him and the fact that he cant make up his mind....he's confused and u shouldn't let him confuse you too. he just doesnt know what he wants. u said it uself...he wasnt a good bf so why put urself thru all that misery if its nto worth it? just forget him and find some one new, someone who will treat u right=] maybe beign friends is not such a good idea. good luck w/ ur decision =]

make a list of all of his good qualities and bad qualities.
then when you look at the bad qualities it will help you realize what a good choice you did to get rid of a negative person in your life. don't worry theres tons of single guys. lots of fish in the sea you just have to be willing to catch them. you will meet other people and eventually one who won't send you mixed signals and will be head over heels for you. i hope everything works out for the best.

it only takes time. try to think negatives things about him, try to keep yourself busy and also don't do anything that reminds u of him. good luck and have a happy new year.

the only way to get a guy of your mind is to think about something else;because if you focus on not thinking about him, you only think about him more[i hope you understand that].
