depending on the wall size and the other colors in the room try a soft dove grey as a neutral then using white accents with maroon in them if you choose ...... try the wall color on a piece of white paper and put it behind the sofa to see what you like if you keep the major color in the room, which is the wall ,a neutral then everythng else has a voice in the design but if it is the sole focal point everything else has to be subdued

If the room is small, white or a light tan.

The larger the room, the darker the walls can be. You might consider a sponged finish with maroon in it shaded down to a light maroon.

I would go with mauve or another color of pink which echoes the couch's color.

If you don't like the monochromatic look, you could go with a dove grey.

maybe a light brown, if you want to blend, or pale yellow if you want the couch to be the focal point of the room...

A goldy yellow.......Are you a USC fan???? If not than go with a light tan. but the yellow is the best (and I am not a USC fan)
