Sure does. You need a blank DVD R of the correct type that your burner will recognize. Forget the word CD. Your burner will have some preinstalled burning sofware I bet. Just pop the DVD R in there and follow the menus.

I am thinking you just typed the wrong thing but if you did mean that you are trying to burn a movie onto a cd than that is your first problem there. You need a dvd-rw disk to put a movie onto a dvd.
Now if you want to put a movie onto a cd that is possible too. You will have to make a data disk and put the movie on it as a file.
To make a dvd just put the blank dvd into the dvd-rw drive and open your burning software. Select your movie and let it do its work.
So check and make sure you are using dvds instead of cds in a dvd drive because that will never read.
Good luck

Download your DVD into your laptop and save it. Pro bally try windows media player. Then insert in a blank CD and go to the media player. Click on the item you want to burn. Then hit burn or synchronize. The dvd will burn to the cd in a couple minutes.

FIrst off... make sure that you have the right kind of DVD in your computer. Try not to use RAM dvd's because they aren't always the best type. Put in the DVD first, then a pop up should come and you will have options then.
If that doesn't work... try to e-mail your computer company.

Wow! Lots of bad advice tonight! You'll need software that can convert the DVD to VCD format to get the DVD onto CDs. http://www.afterdawn.com is one of the better sites to help you with information and links to software to help you with that.
To do a direct copy of DVD to DVD, not so easy. That site should be able to help you out with that as well.
