You need to see a doc in order to find out for sure if it is a yeast infection or some other kind of infection. The classic signs of a yeast infection are a cottage cheese like discharge, a yeasty smell as in fresh baked bread and severe perineal itching. If you think you have a yeast infection or any other kind of infection you need to see the doc for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Depends where.
If you are speaking of vaginal the most common symptoms are extreme drive you crazy itching and a white discharge the looks something like cottage cheese. There are over the counter medications for yeast infections ask your pharmacist to recommend one. You should still call your doctor though, even if he would tell you to get the medication, it is good to keep your medical records up to date.
You can get yeast infections in skin folds as well. It would be a moist, red, itchy, and sometimes sore rash. You will probably have some white material present as well.

itchy coochie... labia may itch, gunky discharge, itch is the biggest thing.
Have you been taking anti biotics?
Doc can prescribe Difulcan tablet.
Also get a mycelex 3 day pack with external vulvar cream. That external vulvar cream is the shanizzle! You will get relief like you won't believe. I get mine at walmart. Ask your mom what she thinks about what we have all told you.
BTW, I had a yeast infection at about 19 years old and didn't have all these options (1984) so I went to the emergency room because I itched THAT BAD! My mama still teases me that they charged me $25 for equipment that night, then they kept the equipment. She still asks me where my $25 speculum is!?!?!?

Well, usually you will know because you won't be able to keep your hands out of your crotch, you will probably have a creamy white discharge that smells "yeasty" so think fermentation. However there are some people that have very minimal symptoms so its best to ask your doctor. Keep in mind that feminine discharge can be creamy and white depending what part of your cycle you are on.
Cheers!

My father has it that developed later in his life.
There is an increase of muccus (the yucky stuff you have after a cold) after eating.
This is because there is a intolerant in the body to process wheat related products so wholemeal is recommend while moving away from wheat based prodcuts.
