I had this cut for a few years, its so fun and cute (and very easy to grow out)!

Unless you want a crew cut, pixie or a bob, its best not to refer to a cut by name, but instead explain to the stylist what you want. When I had this cut I told my girl I wanted it longer in the front, shorter and bumped up in the back, and razored closer by the neckline blending into the bumped up hair.

That may not be what YOU exactly want, but just tell her in detail. Its the best way to get your point across. If you can find a pic of the cut, even better.

EDIT: Take a look at all the DIFFERENT answers below. This is why you shouldnt refer to the cut by name and instead explain. Everyone has their own idea of what something is, or is called. Its best to explain in detail!

This haircut is called a diagonal forward. The back is a solid all one length cut then the sides are cut at an angle towards the chin at about 45 degrees.

tell your stylist you want a chin length bob, but STACKED in the back.

Wore that for while and LOVED it!

Longer in the front and layered up in the back.
