yes, prove to me the reason that a God would ever need a mortal son. A Supreme being and a being that has to resort to killing his flock via floods are two entirely contradictory notions!!! If you can prove that statement incorrect, then you have a chance!

Yes, have god or Jesus come to me and tell me.
Is there anyway I could convince you that the bible is a writing filled with human power struggle? Look into the history of the Bible, Koran , Veda, Epic of Gilgamesh or any other book(s) of mythology and it is easy to see why they were written and in the Bible's case compiled at different times for our consumption. Human power!
With today's technology, science and educational opportunities it is amazing that so many people still believe in this stuff.
I know it seems nice to feel that their is a spiritual purpose to all of this but that is not demonstrated in any way. This spiritual purpose that is the whole of religion isn't even supported by a shred of evidence for it's root, the spirit.
Please read your bible with an open mind and with having your pastor explain away all the nonsense in there.

God wrote the bible himself?....LOL.....If he's a god why would he have to physically write a book, or any part of a book? I'll tell you how you could convince me. You bring jesus over to my house, let us sit and have some tea and we'll talk. Until then I'll continue to know that the bible is nothing more than a book of christian mythology. A product of the vivid imagination of man, nothing more.

The last book of the Bible was neither written by God nor by someone named "Revelations." It was written by the Apostle John.
In addition, some of the Gospels are actually combinations of other works that are now lost, and not completely written by the person whose name is at the top. Your knowledge of Bible History appears to be lacking.
Since you lied to me about one thing, why should I believe you about any of the others?
The Bible was put together by Catholics at the Council of Rome in the fourth century. These men (not gods) decided which of the existing litrature was to be considered the holy word of God -- and which books were not. The Catholic Bible has remained untouched since then. However, in the 1500s, Martin Luther decided that severa of the books were not inspired by God and threw them out of the Bible. This is likely the version that you are using.
So, what I want to know is why those Catholics were right about most of the books and wrong about others? Why is it that you believe that Martin Luther was right about the books he threw out and those men who originally put the Bible together were wrong?

the bible is not proof, its a book and god didnt write anything. bible is a greek word meaning book it wasnt named by god or written by him but written by hundreds of people over thousands of years and the contents were a pile of letters and booklets and so on that were compiled , some thrown out, some brought in, some lines changed , etc by the council of Nicea. learn to use proper words and spelling or everyone will guess that you are a total idiot. actually john was not written by john but about him and so on.

Did the people who wrote the bible know that it was impossible for Noah to gather 2 Polar Bears for the Arc because at that time, he and God didn't know that they existed?

Yes - you can get rid of the concepts of sin, guilt, hell and a judgemental god. You can accept the real god of unconditional love. And you can then be the best example of this love by accepting equal rights for gays, not rejecting stem cell research and evolution, and not preaching or pushing any christian agendas into society. In other words, if you could be more like zen buddhists, you'd have us convinced.

sorry to break to you, princess, but some people will never be and don't want to be convinced of the Gospel. Your job, as a believer, is simply to spread the News. Other than that, there is nothing you can do. Just leave it to God.
