Calico for sure. I have a calico kitty 2 years old and she is the sweetest most loving cat I have ever had in my life. Her fur is bunny soft and very shiny because she is retentive about keeping herself clean. In fact right now she just jumped up on my computer desk and wants her hug. Good Luck with your new kitten!

I believe she would be classified as tortoiseshell. I have a calico and she has very defines patches on her body and the white under body. Calicos and torties are very lovely cats either way though.

Calico cats are primarily white with patches of black and orange, while tortoiseshell cats are similar to calicos but with far less visible white fur.

if they are solid patches she is a calico, if the colors have more of a smudged or smeared appearance then it's tortishell. there are several websites with pictures on this topic, they also explain the scientific reasons behind coloring.

She sounds like a tortishell. They have a more blotchy coloring.....calico usually have larger and more defined spots of color.

In America, she would be called a calico. Brits call them "Tortie with white."

Calicos have white somewhere in their fur - often on the tummy. Torties are black and brown, generally.
