Can I make tea by
*Pouring cold water into a cup
**Putting a teabag in the water
Can I do that???I mean like, can I do that and will it stiil be safe and will it still be tea???

the tea wont make cause the hot water is what brings the tea out

Yes! Given enough time the tea will go into solution and taste just as good and be just as safe as if it was made with hot water. The only reason hot water is used in the first place is because it speeds the brewing process of the tea. Some tea producers even suggest you make "SunTea" by filling a jar with cold water, putting in the tea bag(s), and setting the jar in the sun all day (again the sun heats the water speeding the brewing process). But cold water given enough time will produce tea.

They have special tea bags for cold water. It is possible.

Yes, you can do it and it will be safe. Back in the olden days, it was called Sun Tea.

Definately..there are "Cold Brew" teabags on the market now and they are just for that purpose.

No. i done that before and i still got that same crappy taste of tea but only colder
