Well Tito got beat but the stoppage was early. I could fight in the UFC if all you have to do to get a stoppage is pound someone in the arms. We did that in high school. So just watch the fight and you'll see only one of those shots at the last of the fight actually hit tito in the head. I'm not downing anyone. 2 great fighters but only one hit him on the ground. If people are gonna ***** about tito shamrock 2 being stopped early this should be the same. People just don't like tito for some reason. Yah, he's cocky, but he's also a good guy. They are out there to fight, not tell each other how much they like one another. You wanna talk about cocky and disrespectful, look at how chuck acted towards randy when he retired. Same thing. Cocky, thinks he's too good. So let's be fair. Just my 2 cents

I agree, Tito has more advantageous provided that than. the learning ordinary in enormous endure is mythical. His floor and pound is in suitable variety acceptable now. He seems to be rather centred, with unrivaled stamina. Chuck has been on hearth, knocking out 6 in a row. His take down protection is arguably the suited in MMA. He kicks greater effective than human beings think of, and, he's an surprising wrestler. i think of Ortiz will pose a lots greater effective project this time around. He looks primed for this hazard. nonetheless, finally, i think Liddell will give up him, yet no longer till he's conscious he grow to be in a combat. this could be a conflict.

Chuck Lidell vs. Tito Ortiz
UFC Light Heavyweight Championship Fight
(UFC showed the Alves-DeSouza fight prior to the main-event)
Round One:
They touch gloves, and we're off. Liddell opens up with a leg kick; Ortiz tries to counter with a jab. He then tries a leg kick of his own.
Chuck connects with a left hook. Ortiz then shoots for a takedown, but misses, and desperately covers to prevent getting knocked out.
Ortiz throws a few punches, but they don't really do anything. He is, however, getting Chuck to move forward (Liddell usually likes counterstriking), but he's yet to find a way to open the fight up for a takedown.
Ortiz tries to throw a few high kicks, but Liddell's on top of them. Liddell catches Ortiz with a punch, and Ortiz is opened up. Chuck starts swinging for the fences, but Ortiz manages to duck them. He's getting himself in a sticky situation, though, since Liddell is pushing the pace and backing him into a corner.
Liddell drops Ortiz with a shot, and then unloads on the ground, but Ortiz continues defending himself and remains in the fight. He's completely busted open, though.
Round Two:
Ortiz shoots for a takedown, and comes closer than last time, but he's still unable to get the Champion down. Ortiz is throwing some kicks, but he's losing some balance on the shot.
Ortiz still appears afraid of Liddell's shots; he covers when Chuck moves in. He also keeps going for a right hand, but the attempt leaves his face open from a shot Chuck.
Ortiz answers with a body shot, and then goes for a takedown, but Liddell sprawls to defend it. Announcer Randy Couture remarks that Ortiz's strategy of shooting for takedowns is not going to work; he needs to do it when Chuck is more exposed. Ortiz lands a right hand.
Liddell starts pushing forward, and Ortiz manages to shoot and takes Liddell's back. He gets Liddell down, but Liddell quickly stands up and throws an elbow. The round ends as the two circle each other.
Round Three:
Liddell's circling with his hands way down, but Ortiz is still backing away. He shoots for a takedown, but Liddell blocks it and throws some shots to Ortiz's head. Ortiz answers right back with a shot of his own.
Liddell hits a nice pair of bodyshots, taking advantage of his lower hand position. Ortiz goes for a single leg takedown, but Chuck doesn't let it happen. Ortiz gets on his back hoping to make Liddell get in his guard, but Liddell refuses. They're back to stand-up.
Liddell hits a nice jab to Ortiz's nose. Ortiz wants to push this to the later rounds, but Liddell's certainly making it tough.
Ortiz hits a few shots, but Liddell wins the exchange and goes to work. Ortiz hits the mat and tries to defend himself, but Liddell doesn't let up and gets the stoppage with a series of strikes.
Chuck Liddell defeated Tito Ortiz via TKO (strikes) at 3:59 of Round Three.
