No. The Bible doesn't ask us to have 'blind faith'-check out Hebrews 11:1.

The authors of the bible wrote what God told them to write and God knew the earth was not flat nor that the solar system revolved around the earth. God created the earth so why would he say it's flat when he made it round. That's a no brainer. You just wanted to get a rise out of people but you fail miserably. The bible doesn't say the earth is flat and you don't give christians enough credit, there are some of us that are actually smart and will listen to others whether they believe what you say or not.

If it said that in the Bible, it would be true and i would believe it.
But a figure of speach like "the four corners of the earth" is not the same as a direct statement "the earth is flat". The phrase "four corners of the earth" simply means that it is a global event. Need I remind you that we still use this phrase today, and nobody takes it to mean that we believe in a flat earth.

Man, you skeptics only have about six or seven objections,(which are EASILY refuted) that yourepeat over and over. I guess you just believe everything you hear (as long as it isn't in the Bible)

If the actual bible said the earth was flat, I WOULD believe the bible. People like to think they are smarter than God - enough to mock his wisdom. This is the most foolishness there could ever be.

Of course the bible does NOT say that the earth is flat. In fact, the bible proves science - not the other way around.

The bible is true whether we like it or not, and whether we understand it or not. It is God's Word. All mockers will be shown to be fools - archaeologists have already proven many a bible mocker wrong. But as long as they're digging, mockers will continue to mock. How do I know that? The bible says so, that's how.

I used to be a mocker too. Just like you. Now I know that I was the one worthy of being mocked - cuz I was the fool. I thank God he waited for me.

I came up with a theory that the world might actually be flat...

when someones goes "around" it they are just traveling in a circle and as for the pictures from space: It's an optical illusion caused by looking at the earth through the atmosphere...

If the Bible said it, I'd believe it, but the Bible actually says that the earth is round...

Yes, I would. The Bible is God's word and God will not lie. But if the Bible DID say the Earth was flat, then the Earth WOULD be flat.

Yes because if it said in the Bible the Earth was flat...then the Earth would be.

A Christian believes what is in the bible and he also believes that God is real and doesn't lie. So far the Book has held its ground. And made better people out of us (except for the crazies)but so far the Bible has held true on its sayings so I would have to believe it but then again I am sure that the world would literally be flat for real. scientifically proven and all.

No. that was started as a matter of perspective by the flat earth society. But yes if you stand on a large piece of open ground it may seem like its flat. But the higher up you go the more you can see that the horizon curves. the same with sailing ships. They stayed within sight of land for fear of falling off the edge of the world . but braver sailors went farther and never found a flat edge to fall off of.And of course the person who had a mind flash thinking that if the world was flat then the ships woulds not seem to disappear below the horizon. but just get smaller looking with distance.and built a model to prove the observation.

The Bible book of Isaiah 40:22 says "He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers." So I believe the earth is a circle......God said so! I think this should clear the issue up for you!
