I remember back in my high school days (late 80s), some guy would steal the test and sell photocopies. HAHAHA. That seems so out-of-date. With all the new cam phones, and crazy technology, I'm sure there are new ways to cheat in school now. I'm curious to know what they are...

I am a teacher and most of the ways that I am familiar with have been mentioned.

If you write on the inside label of a water bottle the water then magnifies the writing so you can see better. Writing (or typing) answers on a small piece of paper that you can slip into a clear mechanical pencil works.

Rather than write on the desk the kids will often try to write on the back of the seat in front of them.

The new high tech way (besides texting for answers or texting questions to a friend who has the test later) is to take a photo of the test with your cell phone camera. Then they send the copy to their friends phone and they can view the questions before they come in. This is the closest to stealing it and photocopying it.

Kids try writing on their hands, writing on the bottoms of their shoes, writing on their folders and book covers; then when they place all of their things on the floor the answers are right there. Some will even just leave the study guide right on top. Kids did that when I was in school so I am pretty good at checking for that.

Sometimes when the kids are allowed to walk up and hand in their test a "smart" kid will pass his finished test to another kid who will just copy the answers and then walk up and turn in both tests. The teacher does not notice because there is so much movement in the room. If the teacher walks around and collects the tests then this is harder to get away with.

If the kid sits near the bulletin board they will sometimes try to write answers there so they can see it during the test. Sometimes they will slide answers behind a poster and pull them out to use during the test.

They write them on gum wrappers and tissues. Some kids have even tried to write answer on the board and hope that the teacher does not notice. Sometimes for A B C they will just hold up 1, 2 or 3 fingers for the correct answer. Anytime a kid asks a question the teacher's attention is focused elsewhere so they can do that pretty easily.

With all of the technology that we have they really do not use it that much in comparison to the "good old tried and true."

I cheated all the time. I would plug formulas and download math programs in my calculator for math, physics, chemistry. Sometimes even biology I would plug in cheat notes. For english and history I plagerized the **** out of essays and take home exams. Thank god for wikipedia and online spark notes. This was back in the day when they had free homework sites and ****. You could get a fully written essay for free. The good days when teachers didnt know **** about the internet. I even went as far as to break into a college professors office and steal an exam the night before a test. We hid in an empty ice chest in the chemistry building. The janitors left at midnight. We then pulled the ice chest over the profs door climbed up and climbed in through the ceiling. We removed the ceiling tiles. Easy as cake. I scored 100% and no questions were ever asked since there was 100+ students taking the exam. It was a final too! I also cheat on my girlfriend with her cousin.

Pencil Tapping - # of taps for the ? and then to answer its 1 tap=a 2=b 3=c 4=d etc... ummm.... we get to write down as much info as we can on a notecard for some bio test so the person u sit by writes some info then u write the other info then switch in the middle of the test... umm... usually we just ask the class before us what was on the test b/c most of the teachers at my school have been there forever and have been giving the same tests and never change them... usually tho they're pretty strick and pay close attention-- so far though nobody has caught onto the pencil tapping....

cheating is very much like a marksman, control the breathing up to a point where you feel so calmed. then whatever method mentioned above will be very easy to achieve. if you don´t feel you´re up to the task, don´t even try it. practice with your little brother or sister, they know you more than you realize, they´ll give a lot details on how to project assurance . a teacher doesn´t catch the one with the safest or fanciest method but the one that projects
hesitation, nervousness, unrest . things you see or notice when someone is lying. you need to realize that if you get away with it, you´ll try to do it again, and again, eventually you´ll run into a teacher who will just stand there like a wolf waiting, and waiting as long as it needs to . remember it takes a thief to catch a thief.
hell with your grades, your integrity will forever be stained in the eyes of the teacher who will also tell another teacher about you and so on. cheat ONLY unless you´re certain you´ll flunk the semester or year. use it as a last resource not as an easy resource

we have theese essays and they tell us whats it gonna be on and we have a hour so i just do it at home and get help from my mom. also she makes us like memorize stuff like lists and stuff and we write it on our own paper so just write it at home and hand it in. or you just get the test and never hand it in and then say you werent there and memorize all the answers. on math you save all the formulas on your caculator. um you look off the person next to you. or hand it to someone and they fill in the answers real quick. but mostly text messaging. or leave you book in the bathroom and say you have to go to the bathroom. or meet somebody in the bathroom. usually people that had the class before you write down all the answers for you. or just wirte on a peice of paper and stick it in your desk.

Text-messaging. Some kids are so good at it they don't even have to look at the key pad to talk to each other! They hide the phones in the pocket of their hoody and text away!
