I'm 5'1" and I weigh about 103. People tell me I look a little too skinny and sick and say I need to gain weight. They don't see what happens when I sit down. I want to loose more weight because when I sit down these blobs come rolling out. I hate it. I know it's fat and not excess skin. Should I drop a few pounds a have sick looking limbs and face or should I tone up my abs? Would it help to tone them up when there is fat over them? Wouldn't it be pointless? Why is my stomach area not catching up with my skinny looking limbs and face as I loose weight?

what I'm saying is, does the fat turn to muscle, or what happens exactly when you work out?

No you don't need to loose weight. Tone up is the answer. Do 'core' excercise to tone up the loose skin on your belly. I know since I'm the same way, perfect weight, but I jiggle when I wiggle, lol. Yes, fat can turn to muscle, but keep in mind when you do tone up, you will gain a few pounds--that is because muscle weighs more than fat--really. Too many people worry about the NUMBERS on the scale, forget that! Right now, just get that out of your head. Focus on toning up your core and arms, legs. They will look better, not jiggle as much and you'll be so hot for spring break.

Ok I'll answer this backwards:

"Why is my stomach area not catching up with my skinny looking limbs and face as I loose weight?"

Thats because your body sees your stomach as, not only a good place to keep fat, but also a convient place also. All your body organs lie below your stomach so it only makes sense, if there's no fat anywhere else, to hold on to it right there.

"Should I drop a few pounds a have sick looking limbs and face or should I tone up my abs?"

Well I would say tone up your abs. Even if you try to loose more weight, the last place the body wants to give up the fat, like i said before, is your stomach, so it will try to get it from either your butt or thighs, which are also perfect places for the body to store fat. If you have noticed that you have downy hair(thick, soft, white, silky looking hair that grows over your skin) on your stomach or face or arms then you DEFINITELY don't need to loose anymore weight. because that means your body doesn't have enough fat on it to keep itself warm so it grows downy hair.

But it's your body so it's totally up to you, my friend Candace is 5'8" and 100lbs and has like almost no fat anywhere...there's a huge gap between her legs when she's standing...everyone thinks she's anorexic...no rolls or anything like that when she sits down...you can count every single rib...but she has downy hair on her face and arms and legs and stomach because her body can't keep itself warm. It's not her fault though..she eats everything insight but her metabolism is too fast.

But I would say tone up.

U should know that there is such a thing as Skinny fat people. Get your body fat measured and see where you're at. There are diets to help you gain weight and tone up at the same time. It takes a lot of hardwork and dedication.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

Body fat measurements are a waste of time. Go to the gym, and get toned up. You'll be adding weight while bettering your figure but you'll also be burning the unwanted fat. Muscles burn fat, even at rest.

just tone up, you are not fat. your weight is just finefor your height. just do crunches and some cardio to burn thefat when you do the cruches and it will all go away and where ever you have excess fat just do toning for that part of your body.

You forgot to mention your age. There is a difference if you are 13 years old or 30 years old. If people say you look skinny and sick and you disagree you better look up anorexia. These people think that they are fat even though people say they look skinny.
