well i might use an ashtry i dont want some ashes to go on the floor or wherever:

Vacume first. Then get a clean white towel, dampen the towel. Now grab the scrubbing bubbles spray it on the spot, wait a minutes, now start dabbing and maybe a light rub with towel untill the spot is gone. You may need 2 towel depending on size of stain.
